Yes, the same basic information is there, but on the page I shared, all the info is tabulated in a single table, near the bottom right .. very concise and easy to have lots of information in one shot.

@DrJBI use Rebrickable for everything, it provides accurate information of what part is used when in what color (except for some variations like the Technic crank variation) and has useful tools to organizing your collection. It's also a hub for MOCs which all are required to have instructions.

I believe the Aliexpress parts are reproductions. The part in the image is genuine due to the stamped code, but the title says "fit for" which leads me to think that they are copies of the original part. Odd that they would reproduce the part so quickly though.

Sometimes I write a script that accesses the Rebrickable API to answer such questions, then I can visualize the results in any way I want.

Regarding AliExpress, I'd be surprised if anything on that platform is genuine. Made in China is what you'll get.

I'm not saying it's all bad quality, but Your Mileage May Vary... a lot.

One more question. Any way to tell whether these are genuine lego parts? It's on aliexpress so, I have my doubts

"link"

Not made by TLG, on the photos in description the DBG wheel connector is different - the mould circles are more pronounced on replicas, and mould ID (or whatever that number printed on parts is) has a different placement, font and size, not to mention "lego" logo/name is missing (specially visible on the front view)

Having just built the 42124, I noticed 32138 was also updated, so the bars can no longer be inserted:

Yep, Bricklink seems to have both https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=32138#T=C  and https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=65098#T=C  now :(

Shame, since a lot of sets in the past even used that to make lasers, like in Exo Force...

Ninjago city garden and some new friends set(41450) is include some new kind of link tread.

It used for escalator in friends set and used for some decoration in ninjago set.

I don't know why TLG don't make just simple link tread without any addition. It will be very usefull for stronger chain.

New Elementary listed the new parts of January releases recently, and there were many new Technic parts or recolours, most of which we of course knew already from the new sets, but few recolours were released only in non-Technic sets, like the 3x3 connector (biscuit piece) in DBG a super heroes set (76174) and pin joiner in dark turquoise in new Ideas set (40448). A number of other connector recolours is also worth mentioning.

Interesting! Do those mesh with the rounded, plate-based gears they came out with recently?

No this part working with normal technic sprocket like used in 42095, 8043, and lot of sets.

Is there a gear that works with train track part 3228? The train wheels don't seem to have te

Very old train wheels had rubber traction tires that utilized the grooves on the train track. The tires were phased out on the wheels but the grooves were not on the track.

This is great news - if I understand correctly, 2 stud wide chain drives will now be possible with these sprockets (down from the previous 5 studs)

Very old train wheels had rubber traction tires that utilized the grooves on the train track. The tires were phased out on the wheels but the grooves were not on the track.

When the first train tracks came out, there were also two types of train curve: one for the inner curve, and one for the outer curve. The inner one did not have any grooves. I think that is because the wheels drive in a different speed when going in a curve. Inside curve train track and outside curve train track.

Some train wheels had rubber, as TechnicRCRacer said, but some also had grooves that matches those on the track: https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=wheel1a&name=Train Wheel with 2 x 2 Stud Center, Traction Teeth&category=[Wheel]#T=C&C=5

I know that it is 56mm with rubber

https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=39367c01&idColor=11#T=S&C=11&O={"color":11,"iconly":0}

...but (thanks God Autocorrect did not turn it into butt) I'm interested in diameter without rubber.

Perhaps I was not clear with my question at the first place

Thanks

Best thing to do is look for the ldcad subfile of the rim without the tyre then get the diameter in LDU and convert LDU to mm.

I used a ruler which is not very accurate but just the rim to me look lije its 46mm

I measured 46.8mm. What's the purpose? removing the tire looks impossible, and there is a dent in the rim...

Thank you Philip

My idea was to find a wheel that with 62.4 tire looks like this

05625.jpg

(Low profile truck tire)

But since it is very hard to remove rubber I'll skip it and make truck with 68.7 x 27 tires...
