A miller is a trusted townie, we have to work together on this. Scum know who is who. But we don't know if Mencot is the miller. He probably is, but there's no way for most of us to be certain.

Infact I am seeing that he does go to sleep a lot, which isn't much of evidence for him being scum. Except that really it benefits town more than scum. To claim miller right away is common and saves a wasted investigation night one. Also give townie someone to start trusting info to. Jamesn believed and supported the claim and he proved townie with his death. Scum could benefit but really they have other ways of getting townies to turn against each other. A good (bad for us) godfather can get all the town to trust them and turn against each other so more townies are lynched and killed , just look at Red Menece for further evidence of this. A Miller claim isnt need for a scum team succeed.

I'm probably going to vote for Captain Settle, since he still seems to be avoiding responding to our suspicions, even though we keep mentioning them, but I'm also looking at The Lazy Chicken, simply because he seems to mostly jump on bandwagons at the last moment, and because he rarely posts more than fluff.

Captain Settle Posted October 11, 2014 Posted October 11, 2014 I see that people have been asking me to respond to being called scum, but I honestly dony have much to say. I've been very busy with work and family, along with doing some things most nights like guitar or football. A lot of the time I have nothing to add, so I don't write anything because if I do it will be called fluff. It's really an unwinnable situation. Don't post and people will think you're trying to slip under the radar, but if you do post when you have no new observations people will call you scum for posting fluff. I have been trying to post more today and be more active, but I don't know if people have recognised that.

And no, they didn´t die because of this reason (altough it seems like one of Jamesn´s lynch reasons was) But I don´t like the fact that you Dave still try to put doubt on my miller claim.

However, he could have been targeting one of his own teammates as Dr. Def suggested the scum might do. If we do kill him, and he turns up scum, I think we can be pretty certain that Duvors is scum as well. If he turns up town, I think we can be fairly sure that Duvors is also town. If we kill him, we will be killing two birds with one stone. I'm not suggesting we kill him though, I'm just saying that it would be good for clarification.

Hmmmmm... you are voting for me since I am "flying under the radar," but there are others who have fewer posts than me and I'm the one who first made a case against both Richila and Captain Settle. The only time I "hopped on a bandwagon" was to ensure a lynch in the last few hours of Day One. I think you voted for me because I've called you suspicious a few times, since your posts are uniformly angry and don't add much to the discussion. You're here to break everyone else down, not to add anything worthwhile. But I don´t like the fact that you Dave still try to put doubt on my miller claim. I have to agree. I think that the Miller claim is the best thing we have going right now, since no one has counter-claimed and it's an explicitly normal role. He doesn't seem like a scumbag to me, he gave an extremely good case against Duvors in day one (something that scum rarely do). This is the only reason I haven't voted for Stinky Dave yet, but it's a close thing.

Of the people who have votes: Pyrovisionary has had bad timing with votes. I think Stinky Dave was being sweet to PM Lord Duvors to check on him. At this time, I will accept Dave's judgement on Duvors. I think Stickfig has a schedule that is out of sync with ours either through time zone or working a night shift. I don't understand why there is a vote for Cutcobra. I signed on planning to vote to Captain Settle, but his last post seemed more bewildered than devious. I understand his trepidation. I have deleted posts before posting out of fear.

However, I think by far Mencot could be trusted if his claim as the Miller is true since no one else has come out and said, or lied, claiming they are the Miller. And since you guys say the Miller role is quite common in Mafia games common, I'll have to trust you guys that Mencot could be reliable. So I guess the best way that I can make a judgment is if someone says something out of the ordinary or has convincing evidence against them.

I actually think the miller claim is true. I didn't believe it before as jamesn was fiercely defending Mencot, which led me to believe the two were scum buddies. But now that jamesn is town, I think I'll trust Mencot for now.

But we need to trust some one and start working together as a team. Why Dave do you not want us to trust Mencot's miller claim? What do you suggest we do instead? If he turns up scum we can be pretty sure Duvors will as well. I don't think we'd get that far with a lynch of Captain Settle.
