Whew! Any idea why relatively new items like Cars II and Banana Balance are clearance?

Based on past experience, the 'newer' sets that are on clearance are merely NOT going to be on the layout Target does, aka the 'Fall/Holiday' set and thus they have to go. Target in my experience has always been more aggressive in clearing out SKU's than any other toy retailer, they don't keep SKU's hanging around someplace hoping to sell them at msrp for long periods of time like TRU or many other retailers (this goes for items other than LEGO as well).

So those Cars 2 sets and Banana Balance and any other newer sets are just not going to be on Target's shelves for the Fall/Holiday set.

USA, week of 9-4 to 9-10 Target has City themed sets on sale. The Minneapolis/ST Paul version of the AD has Prisoner Transport and Satellite Launch Pad for $15.

9/9 - 9/10 TRU has BOGO%50 all Lego construction sets, Plus and exclusive HP Trolley set with purchase of $30 or more.

At a Target near Washington DC, I found the PoC London Escape on clearance for 38.50. And at another nearby Target, the PoC Whitecap set was on clearance for $58, but the London Escape as still MSRP. Hope others have some luck with this.

I was at the Stoneridge Lego Grand opening today and was told by an employee who normally works at Valley Fair lego store that they now have the collectible minifigure vampire, witch, big hair (so guess disco?) and one other series 2 minifigure parts in their build a minifigure boxes. If so then its not only limited to series 1 because that series didn't have the wide distribution, and will more of series 1 come to BAM boxes or just more series 2 hmm? I have been hoping for my zombie army...
