richb Posted January 21, 2010 Posted January 21, 2010 (edited) Most Target brick & mortar stores in the US should have their post-Christmas clearance aisles assembled, so if you've not been to your local Target recently now is not a bad time to stop in for a look. The store near me had some LEGO sets on clearance which were obvious returns and/or damaged items that could no longer be sold as new either because the set had already been rotated out of stock or the box was mangled (or both). I scored an Agents 2.0 8970 Robo Attack at my local store for $24.95 (about 50% off MSRP). It was missing sections of its box art, so I presume it was previously wrapped as a gift with liberal amounts of Scotch tape, which caused the damage to the box when it was unwrapped. The Alchemyst Posted January 21, 2010 Posted January 21, 2010 Thanks for the heads up, I hope I can get one, I've been wanting that set for a while.
brick66 Posted January 21, 2010 Posted January 21, 2010 For Australia, David Jones Bondi Junction Sydney has 3 Grand Carousels left at $298.00 each (I bought the fourth). They'll send it to another store to collect, if you beg...
Pellaeon Posted January 23, 2010 Posted January 23, 2010 In the U.S. and A., my local Lego Store had a handful of last year's sets on sale: a couple of smaller Rock Raider sets and the Pirate Coin Bank were all 50% off, and the Indy Kingdom of the Crystal Skull magnet set was $3.98. (!) They also had the 2010 Star Wars battle packs in stock.

I might have to pick up two, if they're still in stock.
BlueDragonZ Posted January 23, 2010 Posted January 23, 2010 Theres a funny thing at Legoshop with the indy magnet sets. They are 40% off. $8.98 USD and $8.48 CAD. First time ever that we get lego cheaper than the states. I think its a glitch which I belive the magnet set should be $11.98 CAD. http://shop.lego.com/Product/?p=852719
The Cobra Posted January 23, 2010 Posted January 23, 2010 Italy -> Iper -> card subscribers: from Jan.25th to Feb 7th, buy any Lego Ben Ten set for 14.50 Euros instead of 15 AND get a 4.35 coupon. Will it be enough to sell those things?

samurai-turtle Posted February 8, 2010 Posted February 8, 2010 K-Mart is having an additional 30% off clearance-priced toys. It might be worth a look. I did spot a Power Miner set on clearance with a couple of Bionicle sets. Sale ends on February the 13th a Saturday.

samurai-turtle Posted February 9, 2010 Posted February 9, 2010 Any idea on what sets they were and the final prices? The one I look at 8957 Mine Mech is around $4.50. The others I did not look at with the price scanner, sorry. But I am guessing your market may be different.

I would have had a hard time stopping at 2!What time do sales start? I have been looking daily as well (since the sale started) and managed to snag two this morning! With the Buy One and Get One at 50% off, plus free shipping, I got two FB's for $236.xx (there was applicable sales tax - the tax was a little less than shipping would have been, so I wasn't too annoyed). Go here and have fun! http://www.toysrus.com/product/index.jsp?productId=3515071 Edit: It's only been an hour and now FB is unavailable again. I hope you managed to get a couple!
