If you buy three sets at the same price, it is indeed 30% off (ex - Three $100 sets = $100 + $100 + $10 = $210. $210/3 = $70. ($100 - $70)/$100 = 30%). B2G1 would be 33% off. This is a great deal if buying multiples of the same set.

Yeah, When I see a bogo sale I try and get multiples of the same set. Also, not all toys r us prices are inflated, you just have to compare to find the deals.

Anyway not TRU has BOGO 1/2 on MOST legos

Yes that was my mistake, that's what I get for hastily thinking one third is 30% off. Like you said it's a decent deal for three of the same set, but I personally would have bought three different sets making it a less attractive option.

TRU has Buy one get one at 50% excluding Star Wars, Alien Conquest, and Pirates of the Caribean.

Same deal on the website, and they have free shipping if buying over $100.00

Didn't see this mentioned, so I'll throw it out there...

Until July 15 (11:59pm), Free shipping + Kingdoms "Target Practice" set on orders over $75.

Was in a Target today in the Chicago area (before work) and noticed that they had two newer sets "clearanced" along with the older PoP and Atlantis. They had the HP - Quidditch Match and the Cars 2 - Ultimate Build Lightning McQueen. I know % off varies with store, mine was at 30% right now.

My local (wisconsin) target had some of the smaller kingdom sets on clearance.

How much was the discount? Thanks in advance!

My Target (in Va) Had HP Quidditch and the PQ scarab beetle for 30% off. It also had the Cursed Cobra Statue and The Walking Spinx set at 50% off. No POP at all.

YMMV of course.

Lego S@H has 75 bonus VIP points with the purchase of the 10217 Diagon Alley set, which combined with free shipping and the Kingdoms Target Practice should be a pretty good deal. Also, I don't know if it has been mentioned that the physical Lego Stores have a 10% off coupon available through the summer catalogue.

Not all USA catalog has 10% off coupon. It was discussed on BL forum and someone mentioned calling LEGO about that. It seems only those who lived nearby (about 60 miles) got the coupon while those who lived too far didn't get any.

I'm glad I live within the radius then.

In regards to Target's having 7949 on clearance, a local location has them @ $6.04 half off a price that bumped up a couple weeks ago ($12.99 I had seen that and thought, are they on crack?). I didn't see any of the PQ Scarab sets on clearance (or any clearance PQ at all) and the PoP hasn't changed prices since the second round of clearance pricing, next week may do it, not sure.

10217 Diagon Alley is tempting but I'm leaning towards a MMV, a Tower Bridge or a Imperial Flagship. The Coupon you be most valuable with the Tower Bridge of course, and Imperial Flagship is second and something I've drooled over since I first saw it, and the MMV is well, it has few if any equals and is likely the first to go away of the three sets listed(not to mention I'll have to deface my catalog for the coupon).

At a Target today I saw 7949 Prison Carriage Rescue, 7942 Off-Road Fire Rescue, 7977 Seabed Strider, and one or two other sets I can't remember for $8.00 each. I was mad at the display, though. There were some Halo M@?#BL)*KS mixed up with the sets. I was so ticked!

At my Lego brand store they typically give you the current magazine when you pay. Not sure if they would give you a second coupon though. That would be epic.

To caveat the 10% off deal, if you are active duty military the Anahiem Disneyland Lego Store gives you a 10% discount of your purchase. I think that is really awesome and wish all Lego Stores did that. Apparently it is at the discretion of the store manager.

Sorry it took me so long to respond. I didn't take notes when I was there and I don't have a lot of computer time these days....anyway I've seen this one at 30 or 50 % off in two target stores

http://shop.lego.com/en-US/Prison-Carriage-Rescue-7949

and these two at 30% off

http://shop.lego.com/en-US/Pizza-Planet-Truck-Rescue-7598

http://shop.lego.com/en-US/Trash-Compactor-Escape-7596

Also Toys r us is having a pretty good sale each of these for $39.99

City Fire Ship

SW Bounty Hunter Assault Gunship

PQ Rise of the Sphinx

Duplo Cars II Pit Stop

POTC London Escape

Bricks & More Deluxe (although this is in the add, I can't seem to buy it online and it redirects me. I have no idea which set this is)

Duple Bricks & More Deluxe

Anyway, I bought the london escape. It's 25% off the MSRP

My local Target had these (3) at around 25%-30% off today. Emperor Palpatine Shuttle, General Grevious Starfighter and Cad Banes Speeder. I didn't pick any up as I'm really not into Star Wars.

Local Target in Pasadena, CA had the Harry Potter Burrows for 20% off...not that great.

Along the lines of last years Harry Potter sets being on clearance at Target, I just found the Freeing Dobby set there at 50% off at a Super Target in Houston. Mind you, it seems Target is always very discrepant in prices as well as what is on sale so YMMV.

If any members find Freeing Dobby (multiples), Quidditch Match, Hagrid's Hut, Repair Truck, Army Men (multiples), Desert Attack (multiples) or Ostrich Race (multiples) for 50% off, please send me a PM, as I would be interested in trading for them. Thanks

Local Targets are doing the clearance thing (Chicago area) they seem to each do something different so obviously YMMV but this is what I've noted:

The one Target that still had PoP sets salvaged them after only 50% off, I've found an odd set here & there that was hidden and they are out of the store's system so you might not want to wait if you see them at that discount.

A different Target has the small PotC sets at 50% off, 4191, 4181, 4182 & 4193. I wouldn't expect those to go to 75% either so I bought what I wanted at 50.

A couple stores had the Tie Defender at 50%, only one had the ARC-170 at 15% off. A few stores had Cars 2 sets at 30% off, I didn't pay to much attention as I'm not interested in that line.

Some stores had HP 30% Freeing Dobby, Quidditch Match, Forbidden Forest, Knight Bus & Hogwarts Express. Interestingly some stores only had a few of the sets on clearance not all.

As of yesterday I found the Collectible Minifigs 4 on discount 50%, I was mainly interested in grabbing musketeers & vikings.

I'm betting that this target is going through some construction or something. One of my targets discounted new atlantis sets when they were refurbishing.

anyway, Target's in general seem to be discounting a lot of lego.

Ive seen these sets at 30% off

I got a few more 7949's @$6.04 ea and 23 series 4 CM's @ $.88 ea, but other than dropping the series 4 prices from eariler in the week no 'new' sets were added to the ones on clearance to my local Target.

It *IS* the time of year that Target starts to clear out items they consider 'Summer' setup items in preparation for doing the first part of the 'Fall/Christmas' setup (last few years it's been in a couple of stages). So I'm not surprised by the clearance on some of the sets, some of the sets reported to be on clearance are surprising but 'Ours is not to reason why, ours is to buy inexpensive plastic building blocks'

If anyone in the US gets spare of HP, Toy Story, Kingdoms or CMs at these excellent prices and wouldn't mind posting some to the UK, shoot me a PM.

Many Thanks!
