Venkefedo Posted October 30, 2014 Posted October 30, 2014 The Stormtroopers are not clones. You obviously haven't read the books. In HTTE, Grand Admiral Thrawn finds one of the Emperor's storehouses within Mount Tantiss on the planet Wayland; within the storehouse are a series of Spaarti Cloning Cylinders. Selecting the finest troops from among his fleet, Thrawn puts the cylinders to use, rapidly cloning a great army of stormtroopers, with the aid of ysalamiri harvested from the planet Myrkr. Quote
3BrickFriends Posted October 31, 2014 Posted October 31, 2014 Awesome MOC. The lighting really makes the pods look amazing. Quote
camberry234 Posted November 1, 2014 Posted November 1, 2014 This build is absolutely beautiful! How did you do the lighting inside the clone capsules? Quote
Disco86 Posted November 5, 2014 Author Posted November 5, 2014 Thanks for your comments ! The Stormtroopers are not clones. I love it, when people just write negative comments, without reading the description or without any knwoledge about the topic. In the Thrawn Trilogy the Stormtroopers are clones... How did you do the lighting inside the clone capsules? It is a simple LED chain for christmas decoration. In the middle of the 4x4 round plates connecting the cylinders is a small hole, the LEDs fit just right in there. Quote
Samppu Posted April 1, 2015 Posted April 1, 2015 I simply love this, just perfect! It is always so nice to see creations from Thrawn trilogy and there is already a good bunch of them that are very good, and this definetly is one of them! Wouldn't actually be so bad idea to combine forces here on the forum with other EU-builders to make a Lego-comic about Heir to the Empire some day? (; Or animation collase or trailer, for that matter, if we want to get very greedy. =D -Samppu Quote
TLaabs Posted April 1, 2015 Posted April 1, 2015 Love love love this MOC. I'm glad it was bumped back to the front where I could look through it again. This was one of my inspirations to build my Thrawn Command Room MOC from the Thrawn Trilogy. Outstanding work, one of my favorite MOCs. Quote
JesterF Posted April 2, 2015 Posted April 2, 2015 Fantastic I just loved the mixing of the loght with the moc. Great Job! Quote
Kuat Drive Yards Posted April 4, 2015 Posted April 4, 2015 This is amazing! I love the Thrawn Trilogy! Good work, it really captures the feel of a super-secret laboratory. Quote
