June 26, 200717 yr I thought that madness was about ridiculously high prices, this is the ridiculously low prices category. :-P well, i think we expand on the original idea and add this type of discoveries in there as well. i'll ask a mod/admin when i see one... g... where are these people when you need one... :-| X-D it's a nice deal, sure, however, the seller hasn't been very smart. You should always split up a collection like this.People are mentally not ready to spend 1000's of euros on Lego as they do on comics for instance. untill then, it's better to split it up

Wonder how much shipping to Europe would have been... :'-( This person more or less knew he had good stuff since he made some references to current prices but why sell this enormous amount in one sale for so incredibly little money? Splitting up would be more time consuming but financially a lot more rewarding. I would have taken my time to carefully sell these sets per 2 or 3 or a couple more sorted per theme.
June 26, 200717 yr It all comes down to how much money your time is worth, and what other things you need to do at the same time. Selling is time consuming, especially if you don't have easy access to a postoffice with good services and short lineups. Certainly that has discouraged me from selling a bunch of stuff I don't really need any more.
June 26, 200717 yr sure its a deal, if the buyer actually gets what he paid for. the seller only has 6 feedback, has changed his screen name at least once, and has 3 negative feedback !!! there is no way i would have bid even 10 USD on this auction :-P to me this looks like a big rip-off, unless the buyer lives in RI and arranged a COD. - BrickMiner

This looks like the guys first sale unless there is additional feedback pending. I wouldn't have touched this with the proverbial 10ft bargepole. David
