October 15, 201410 yr Wow, I'm suprised that those Technic panels weren't in LDD for such a long time
October 15, 201410 yr Great work! Now nearly 30% of my files is unopenable, whenever I try to open somefile, LDD just instantly crashes to desktop
October 15, 201410 yr These are the "old" bricks that I could spot. 17 bricks. Some maybe not so common (like the 60930 Rocket backpack), others very common. Like the 4214 Frame and 4084 Tyre. I mean pieces from the 80's/90's. Some of them are quite modern. About old ones, I'm quite sure the antenna 4H was always available, don't know about the 4214. Great work! Now nearly 30% of my files is unopenable, whenever I try to open somefile, LDD just instantly crashes to desktop Did you receive the second "fix" update?
October 15, 201410 yr Any news about any new decorations? Or was this only (kinda dissapointing) brick update? Also, we get the two colour short legs, but no two-tone minifig arms? The heck?
October 15, 201410 yr Author About old ones, I'm quite sure the antenna 4H was always available, don't know about the 4214. The story with the antenna I got explanined as follows: The antenna got a new shape/mold some years ago with a square top. However, TLG decided to keep the same DesignID (3957), so the LDD Team was forced to update it in LDD to have a square top. Naturally this situation wan't very satisfying when you are trying to make an old set in LDD, and you really want that look of the rounded top. The solution was to use the DesignID for the transparent version of the antenna (30064) for the rounded top, and now we have both version available to use in LDD.
October 15, 201410 yr So no simpsons stuff? Dang... But can you now colour The Sleeves on torsos and shorts on legs?
October 15, 201410 yr So no simpsons stuff? Dang... But can you now colour The Sleeves on torsos and shorts on legs? Unfortunately, nope, although there are two-coloured short legs.

October 15, 201410 yr Part 23306 Light Sward Shaft has been modified in a good way. We can now copy Peter Reid's floor robots from his Turtle Factory.
October 15, 201410 yr Still getting a little disappointed every time there is an update, and there are still no L or Servo motors!
October 15, 201410 yr I got the update and everything works fine. Still upset the Invasion from Below beast head parts haven't been added. They added Chi Sir Fangar's head and jaw piece. Also no Mixel Eye print decoration for the Minifigure heads
October 15, 201410 yr I 2nd that, my software updated. I noticing that in the beginning it showed "downloading patch", then the "downloading bricks" approx. 5 times, then "updating" itself. Finally the program started and ( drum roll please )...............it DIDN'T CRASH!
October 15, 201410 yr The solution was to use the DesignID for the transparent version of the antenna (30064) for the rounded top, and now we have both version available to use in LDD. Greeeeat. Now I have to go back and edit over a hundred LDD files because they now contain the wrong part.
October 15, 201410 yr Author Greeeeat. Now I have to go back and edit over a hundred LDD files because they now contain the wrong part. You can do this in a batch with LDD Manager, although it won't create lxf's as a result, only lxfmls. But I'll look into a feature like this now that you mentioned it. Or if you can't wait, you could just use some file editing tool that will batch unzip the lxf's, search and replace the DesignID, and then zip them up again. I'm sure there is some kind of simple batch tool like that out on the internet. Note that you can only do this sort of batch operation with parts that have the same zero-point (origin) and shape, as the part you want to replace it with.

I'm sure there is some kind of simple batch tool like that out on the internet. I should be able to slap together a PHP script to do this, since I have the basics of unzipping from that old gallery thingy. It's also the excuse I need to learn about RE-zipping stuff... Adding the facility for this to LDD Manager would be pretty sweet for those folk who don't have a localhost, though :B Edited October 16, 201410 yr by Gnac
