Derfel Cadarn Posted October 15, 2014 Posted October 15, 2014 Hey guys, its been a while but I'm building again. First freebuild is an old moc from last year: More pictures on my Flickr Not sure how I claim points for this stuff as Its been a while since I was on here but its all for Avalonia! Quote
Slegengr Posted October 15, 2014 Posted October 15, 2014 Excellent MOC, Derfel! The blue in the walls, along with the white and tan, make them very interesting. I love the black roof in contrast to the other colors used. The nets in the roof are excellent for showing a thatched framework. I wonder what is in the swampy water to make it purple? Brick on, Derfel! Quote
Lord Vladivus Posted October 15, 2014 Posted October 15, 2014 Those walls are great colours! And nice use of the pink Mohawk hair! Quote
Gideon Posted October 15, 2014 Posted October 15, 2014 Great to have you back here! As usual excellent shaping and details, even though I'm not sure of all the color choices...looks almost Nocturnian to me Quote
mccoyed Posted October 15, 2014 Posted October 15, 2014 Great. The puddle is now a lake. An ocean. Derfel... you magnificent bricker. Quote
Kayne Posted October 15, 2014 Posted October 15, 2014 You've been missed here DC! What a great and triumphant return today! I must say that I had given up hope on the Dark Isale Saga ever reaching completion. Quote
IenjoyLego89 Posted October 15, 2014 Posted October 15, 2014 Those bright colours for the terrain really pop! I love the pumpkins :) Quote
robuko Posted October 15, 2014 Posted October 15, 2014 Beautiful. You are still setting the standards for us all to aspire to! Quote
cablefoxley Posted October 16, 2014 Posted October 16, 2014 Your still one of the best builders out there in any genre (although ces is building some magnificent things). As with most people in goh your an inspiration and have probably got a hole load of people back into lego. Lego should give u a commission. Quote
Venkefedo Posted October 16, 2014 Posted October 16, 2014 Putting those Friends colors to good use! Fantastic! Quote
Scaevola Posted October 16, 2014 Posted October 16, 2014 Excellent build, I love the color scheme/landscape on this  Quote
Hammerhand Posted October 16, 2014 Posted October 16, 2014 Whoa, DC, that's one seriously intense build! So awesome. I love the purple and pink used, it gives it a strange sinister feel. Quote
Jorrith Posted October 17, 2014 Posted October 17, 2014 This was the first one i saw out of 3, and the last one to reply on... But same as the others, i am really digging those colors that do not feel logical to use, but they do work excellently for each moc! Also the buildings, the details, everything top-notch. I wish i could build like that! Quote
Adolfo Posted October 17, 2014 Posted October 17, 2014 This MOC is the best for me from your last creations. The color scheme from the 4th picture is amazing! I did not remember so many techniques in only one picture showed too. I especially loved the water and this is gonna be inspirational for many AFOLs, I think. Congratulations for your wonderful job! Leki Posted October 19, 2014 Posted October 19, 2014 It's really those kind of MoC that gets me into building LEGO again. Great build :) Leki. Quote
kabel Posted October 19, 2014 Posted October 19, 2014 Good to see you back in the game, nothing better than a moc by the MASTER! Quote
LordDan Posted October 21, 2014 Posted October 21, 2014 Fantastic Moc, the amount of detail in the castle is insane, but so is the amount of detail in just about everything you build! Quote
soccerkid6 Posted October 28, 2014 Posted October 28, 2014 Very impressive manor! The use of window shutters on the half-timber sections looks amazing Love the landscape with unusual colors as well Quote
