Tariq j Posted November 5, 2015 Posted November 5, 2015 I would say his hair looks a little modern, but I'm not very well-versed in 1930's men's haircuts. Especially not British ones (if they differed from America). In Britain the hairstyle in the 1930's was usually comes back or to the side and usually trimmed, so I would agree with you in that this hairstyle does look a little too modern. In terms of the new pictures, I think it looks great. Quote
Ardelon Posted November 28, 2015 Posted November 28, 2015 Color me intrigued. I always like the world-bulding aspect of these movie franchises the most, and I expect this one (or all three) to deliver. Quote
Ultron Posted December 16, 2015 Posted December 16, 2015 Excited! Can't wait till we see the actual beasts too! Love how they played Hedwig's theme at the end as well. Quote
LEGODalekbuster523 Posted December 17, 2015 Posted December 17, 2015 I think it's brilliant the teaser does exactly what a teaser should do and teases the content as opposed to giving it away. Not a lot in there yet still induces a feeling of excitement. This is EXACTLY how to do a teaser trailer! Quote
EdWebhead Posted April 11, 2016 Posted April 11, 2016 New Trailer! I'm loving this so much! It's one of my most anticipated movies this year! Quote
Master_Data Posted April 11, 2016 Posted April 11, 2016 Definitely looks better than I anticipated! Quote
Ultron Posted April 11, 2016 Posted April 11, 2016 So excited! It'll be such a shame if we don't get a set or two eventually Quote
Bricky Dee Williams Posted June 6, 2016 Posted June 6, 2016 So excited! It'll be such a shame if we don't get a set or two eventually just2good just dropped some major new info at 4:08 in the video, man! Sounds like you're in luck! (And he said nothing about Dimesnions) Quote
Vorkosigan Posted June 23, 2016 Posted June 23, 2016 Um yes J2G specifically was referring to dimensions: "until the new sets come out later this year for LEGO dimensions oh ho ho...did I say that out loud?" Anyway I came in here because I saw this story about a new Fantastic Beasts poster and a tweet "Something FANTASTIC is being announced soon.": http://www.irishexaminer.com/breakingnews/entertainment/new-fantastic-beasts-poster-and-a-surprise-on-the-way-741181.html Perhaps wishful thinking but I'm curious to see what is announced in case its LEGO related, dimensions or not. Airbenderfreak Posted June 29, 2016 Posted June 29, 2016 I'm a Thunderbird, which makes sense since my Hogwarts house is Slytherin. Quote
Robert8 Posted June 29, 2016 Author Posted June 29, 2016 I'm not in Pottermore but I'm a Snake in the Chinese Zodiac, so I'll take the Horned Serpent Quote
kevkipo Posted June 29, 2016 Posted June 29, 2016 A new actor you wouldn't expect. They announced a new Actor? Where? Also i'm really excited about this, I want Newt, Tina, Queenie, and Jacob, and the bad guy, AND LOTS OF BEASTS! Has it ever happened that Lego releases a Wave of sets with the second movie? Not with the first? Or are they just looking at Dimensions Sales? Quote
Forresto Posted July 4, 2016 Posted July 4, 2016 I like the new house sigils a lot. I love the Native American influences. Quote
RAKRONDEWL Posted July 4, 2016 Posted July 4, 2016 (edited) I like the new house sigils a lot. I love the Native American influences. What Native American influences? It looks Celtic to me.I also think using the Trinity symbol for a wizarding crest is a bad idea. Edited July 4, 2016 by RAKRONDEWL Quote
Ultron Posted July 4, 2016 Posted July 4, 2016 So Pottermore has pegged me as a Gryffindor and a Pukwudgie. Still a self professed Ravendor though! Pukwudgie is pretty uninteresting in terms of a mascot but their qualities are intriguing to me...I feel like I'm actually destined to be a hatstall though What Native American influences? It looks Celtic to me. The designs are pretty Celtic (which makes sense given the story) but the mascots definitely are very Native American Quote

I don't know much about the story yet so I will have to take your word for it. What exactly makes them look Native American is it the names, descriptions, mythical animals, or a combination of these? What exactly makes them look Native American is it the names, descriptions, mythical animals, or a combination of these? The American school is supposed to be founded on Indigenous North American people's magic. Each of the animals/beings are from the folklore and mythology of various tribes. I will grant you the tripleknot looks strange and more celtic however considering the Irish were a massive immigrant group to the Continental US, I would imagine there would also be Irish witches and wizards and whatnot. If there were I would bet they would include some of their culture as well. Edited July 5, 2016 by Forresto Quote
