I would say his hair looks a little modern, but I'm not very well-versed in 1930's men's haircuts. Especially not British ones (if they differed from America).

In Britain the hairstyle in the 1930's was usually comes back or to the side and usually trimmed, so I would agree with you in that this hairstyle does look a little too modern. In terms of the new pictures, I think it looks great.

Um yes J2G specifically was referring to dimensions: "until the new sets come out later this year for LEGO dimensions oh ho ho...did I say that out loud?"

Anyway I came in here because I saw this story about a new Fantastic Beasts poster and a tweet "Something FANTASTIC is being announced soon.": http://www.irishexaminer.com/breakingnews/entertainment/new-fantastic-beasts-poster-and-a-surprise-on-the-way-741181.html

Perhaps wishful thinking but I'm curious to see what is announced in case its LEGO related, dimensions or not.

A new actor you wouldn't expect.

They announced a new Actor? Where?

Also i'm really excited about this, I want Newt, Tina, Queenie, and Jacob, and the bad guy, AND LOTS OF BEASTS!

Has it ever happened that Lego releases a Wave of sets with the second movie? Not with the first? Or are they just looking at Dimensions Sales?

I like the new house sigils a lot. I love the Native American influences.

What Native American influences? It looks Celtic to me.

I also think using the Trinity symbol for a wizarding crest is a bad idea.

So Pottermore has pegged me as a Gryffindor and a Pukwudgie. Still a self professed Ravendor though! Pukwudgie is pretty uninteresting in terms of a mascot but their qualities are intriguing to me...I feel like I'm actually destined to be a hatstall though

The designs are pretty Celtic (which makes sense given the story) but the mascots definitely are very Native American

Thank you for answering. I don't know much about the story yet so I will have to take your word for it. What exactly makes them look Native American is it the names, descriptions, mythical animals, or a combination of these?

The American school is supposed to be founded on Indigenous North American people's magic. Each of the animals/beings are from the folklore and mythology of various tribes. I will grant you the tripleknot looks strange and more celtic however considering the Irish were a massive immigrant group to the Continental US, I would imagine there would also be Irish witches and wizards and whatnot. If there were I would bet they would include some of their culture as well.
