UsernameMDM Posted October 28, 2014 Posted October 28, 2014 (edited) "No one's come through this door and what kind of case? This is a private entrance." Hoke uses Diplomacy. "One of utmost importance. Have you heard of the violent disturbances in the area? We are here to investigate that. I am sure you don't want another disaster in your theatre so soon after the last one. Not sure that would be good for business." Edited October 28, 2014 by UsernameMDM
Waterbrick Down Posted October 28, 2014 Author Posted October 28, 2014 "Disaster at our theater, is that some sort of threat? And those tales are nothing more but the drunken slurrings of a love-lost actor. We're in the middle of a production right now, you come back later if you've a mind to be more civil."

Hoke uses Diplomacy. "It's not a threat, but a history of what has happened in a theatre. We are in no way wanting to disrupt your production. If you won't let us in this door, we will just go through the front door. Either way, we will be in the theatre so that your patrons will be safe." Edited October 28, 2014 by UsernameMDM

Perhaps you could make it a little worth me getting in trouble by letting you in? And no, no one's been in since the start of the performance and no one that I haven't recognized." And you seem to be on the inside with the possibly guilty party behind a locked door, and we are out here."
K-Nut Posted October 28, 2014 Posted October 28, 2014 "Hell if I'm giving anything up to get in. If he says no ones been in than I'm guessing no one has. We should be spending our time elsewhere. I doubt this thing would go to the first place it saw once it transformed. Even beasts have a sense of subtlety."

This is a waste of time if no one has entered the theatre."
Flare Posted October 28, 2014 Posted October 28, 2014 Benji pockets the mask, and turns to the man in the door. "Eh, excuse me, but has you or any staff come through this door in the last while?... Perhaps the beast snuck in after them."
Waterbrick Down Posted October 28, 2014 Author Posted October 28, 2014 (edited) "Again, no one has come in without a key and I keep a fair eye on the goings on back stage. We have plenty of security and I think your concerns are unwarranted. But if you'd really like to come inside, shall we say 100 Gold? You'll find a ticket to come in through the front during the show will cost you each double that." Edited October 28, 2014 by Waterbrick Down
Flare Posted October 28, 2014 Posted October 28, 2014 "Has anyone come in AT ALL? With a key even?" Benji looks angrily at the bumbling bearded man in the top hat.

"We have no interest in watching the production, so purchasing a ticket from either the front or back door does not make sense. If you are trying to hide something we will enter with force by the authority of the Town Watch."
Waterbrick Down Posted October 28, 2014 Author Posted October 28, 2014 (edited) "Um gentlemen, we don't have a warrant currently and aside from proximity to our quarry, I don't think they're guilty of anything criminal." "No one's come in who isn't supposed to be here since the performance started an hour ago. Before that, only those with an appropriate key or who I let in personally were the only ones who could get in. I don't care if you're interested in the production, if you want in, I don't mind a charitable contribution, but if you're going to try forcing your way in here in the presence of a town watchman who's just confessed to there not being any warrant or reason for suspicion, you're dafter than I thought. I've had just about enough words with you, don't push it." Edited October 28, 2014 by Waterbrick Down

Hoke walks off through the alleyway to the main street and looks around to see if something may have happened out of the ordinary. Hoke walks into the main street, it's growing dark in Eubric, but he doesn't see anything suspicious. "Any ideas gentlemen?"
UsernameMDM Posted October 28, 2014 Posted October 28, 2014 "Any ideas gentlemen?" "You can go get a warrant to search the theatre."
Waterbrick Down Posted October 28, 2014 Author Posted October 28, 2014 "Under suspicion of what? Hiding a monster, do you think anyone would want to do so willingly? We could just wait for the show to finish."

Waterbrick Down Posted October 28, 2014 Author Posted October 28, 2014 "Alright you're going to have to give me time, probably going to be an hour or so, the rest of you ok with that?"
UsernameMDM Posted October 28, 2014 Posted October 28, 2014 "Alright you're going to have to give me time, probably going to be an hour or so, the rest of you ok with that?" "I think we will be ok. We will do our best to keep watch on the theatre. Plus we have the mask Carvenhall discovered. Perhaps our suspect is familiar with the theatre and uses the tricks they learned in performance to carry out their crimes." Hoke uses Diplomacy. "See if you can muster up any support or aid from the Town Watch. You saw what happened in our last encounter and the suspect wasn't even present."
Flare Posted October 29, 2014 Posted October 29, 2014 "Why don't we go investigate one of the past scenes of monster wreckage? I don't have any better ideas."

UsernameMDM Posted October 29, 2014 Posted October 29, 2014 Hoke makes his way to the front of the theater. [Picture coming] Inside the lobby, Hoke locates an attendant. "Sir, he's in his private box. We're in the middle of a performance." Hoke uses Diplomacy. "Yes, and my apologies. We are in the middle of a case following a rather violent individual and our trail ended at your back door, which we were not allowed entrance. A detective with the Town Watch is currently procuring a warrant to search the premises, in force if need be, and I would rather handle this matter discreetly as to not tip off the assailant. Trust me sir, my companions and I are not here to enjoy the performance," Hoke says as he opens his arms wide, displaying his armor, weapons and gear, "We simply wish to catch this villain before they can do any harm to Eubric, or anyone in this theatre. They just smashed a wall at the zoo and let crazed animals run about in mayhem. I do not want to let that happen again."
Waterbrick Down Posted October 29, 2014 Author Posted October 29, 2014 "You'll have to give me a moment sir." A few minutes pass and the attendant returns with an annoyed Bilbert Wigglepike. "What is the meaning of this? We're in the middle of final production of Madame Splatterfly."
