Thanks for the tip! However, I used an awesome service for my Creator interview and it still was a horrible job :P It does indeed saves you a lot of typing.

Oh I know. It's part of my daily routine ... and I don't like it :D

What did we tell you about posting pictures of clone-brand sets .  Actually, I am just flabbergasted that someone would do this, I can't imagine the cost of all the printing filaments used.  Very impressive results, especially the "nano"-motors.

Sonix btw. Super product

Thx for that hint. I've see them but not yet gave it a try.

Am I alone in thinking that having so many discussion topics for upcoming sets - which are not even that significant - is a little overdone? And then we also have the 2018 Set discussion topic. @Jim, it is quite clear your interest lies in new sets, but is it reason to justify starting so many topics where you normally are quite strict in starting new topics? I understand there is no way back now, but I sure hope this is not going to be a recurring event every half year.

But isn't this something we always used to have? At least I can remember so - 2H sets for sure, as soon we have the first valid and useable picture to discuss, these become a separate topic. This makes sense for me, as discussing 4-5 sets in the same topic, leads to total information chaos, and untrackable discussions.

We usually create new topics to focus the discussion per set. At least, I think we did last wave/year. Having four conversations in a single topic is very hard to follow, especially with these numbers of posts per hour.

The great thing about them is that if you think they are not relevant (which most people beg to differ), you can choose to not follow that topic. You can focus on the topic(s) of the set(s) you do like

Okay, didn't notice that before, but it all makes sense . And with the number of posts and participants it seems very justified too. I rest my case. I'm probably quite alone in not being interested in any new set, maybe only the Bugatti.

So do I. For some reason (maybe projectation my burn-out in other fields of life) this year's sets are just... well, new, but not tempting for me. Let's go out, have a hike in the woods! :classic:

What line of work are you looking for

You  could break them down into small sets, mediums sets, large sets and flagship set topics.  It is easier to do individual set topics over in the train forum since there are only about 3 new trains.

I think these separate topics are fine. It starts with the first pictures but after the release of the set the discussion continues about the details, opinions etc. Not sure if we need the separate "mods & improvements" topics for each though :)

This picture is worth 1000 words or a few dollars:

Bublehead's Backlog l/r

This is a picture of all my backlog of unbuilt sets still in their sealed boxes in my collection except the 41999.  I have built the A models of the Wheeled Loader, Claas, and Arocs, but currently only the Volvo is built and displayed, the Claas and Arocs were ripped apart to be parts donors to my Twirl & Hurl Ride. But now I have replaced them with misb sets. Three of these might end up on a shelf next to you as contest prizes, but we have to wait and see... Did I just quote Donald Trump? Where is that bar of soap?, I need to wash a funny taste out of my mouth.

Got what I deserved. Foolish grammar idiot I am.

There is an unwritten rule of don't ask for titles on EB.   Also be careful of what you say as it can be used against you in a title.
