Logan McOwen Posted October 22, 2014 Posted October 22, 2014 I was originally gonna enter this guy in the contest, but then I remembered that he has a modified chestplate on him... So that's not happening. And I was so confident that he'd please the judges too, darn it! The elemental masters are not the only beings in this world who can control the elements. Even humble villagers have some rudimentary access to elemental control - enough to, say, light a campfire, or move stones for construction work. But elemental energies can be used for far more dangerous, or even malicious purposes. One being with such abilities is the Fire Shogun. Nobody quite knows where he came from, or even who he truly is, but it is understood that he is a dangerous, malignant terror to all. He need not arm himself with blade nor launcher, for his control of the element of Fire is impeccable enough that he can wreak havoc without. He is, without a doubt, a dangerous foe to all. But what would his power be, if he wore a great and powerful golden mask? Alas, let us hope that we never find out... So, this is actually a pretty oldish MOC, which I recently disassembled. It was originally intended to serve as a revamp of Fire Lord, but it kinda suits it's own character. Hope you all like him! xoxo A couple more photos of him are on my Flickr - click the Bull below! Zerobricks Posted October 22, 2014 Posted October 22, 2014 Wow, that looks purely evil! Love the dual blades on his head. Quote
VBBN Posted October 22, 2014 Posted October 22, 2014 I remember I quite liked the structure of his legs, and he looks good from most angles. I went ahead and took your post out of the entry thread(since this isn't being entered, it would indeed be a DQ) Quote

My actual entry is currently under construction - there are some WIP shots in my Flickr gallery, actually. Wow, that looks purely evil! Love the dual blades on his head. Thanks! Quote
meowmachine Posted August 27, 2015 Posted August 27, 2015 The more I look at it, the more I like it. Solid, consistent design that embodies the clean look CCBS tries to go for. Quote
Logan McOwen Posted August 27, 2015 Author Posted August 27, 2015 A rather belated compliment, haha. Thank you! And yes, I do love the CCBS's aesthetic. To me, later G1 sets (2006 and onwards) feel awfully cluttered, so the CCBS is a wonderful evolution. Click the image in my siggy to see more of my MOCs. I feel I've become a lot more CCBS-savvy as of late :) Quote
YellowCorvette Posted August 27, 2015 Posted August 27, 2015 Awesome MOC! Love the color scheme and the legs! Quote
Shakar Posted August 27, 2015 Posted August 27, 2015 Really cool. The Japanese style can be seen at first glance. A simple but very effective leg design. Though I would've kept the printing on his chest, it seemed it would've fit really well. Quote
