The car doesn't perform too well on rough terrain, but it drives fairly well on smooth ground and on downhill trails. The suspension works like a charm though, really responsive and not too stiff. :classic:

EDIT: I made a video!

You can see more pictures here.

The interior looks awesome. Also love the yellow lights. Must be really fun to play with! Btw didnt you want to use a buggy motor first?

Not even a short video on the suspension?

Maybe I'll make a 30 second video on that, if there's demand.

Yeah, but the buggy motor proved too much for the V1 receiver :sceptic:

Can you explain? How it proves too much. 2 bad though. I guess you also wanted it 2 be driven by a buggy motor.

As far as I understand, the V1 receiver does not provide a lot of current to the buggy motor. This results in the buggy motor stalling very easily.

Aaw :( so v2 will work? Would have loves to see it with a buggy motor. Still a very nice build though :D

V2 should be better AFAIK.

Looks good. I think you should add some decals and definitely give the buggy motors another shot :classic:

Maybe someday I'll rebuild the car from scratch. For now, this is the final model.

Can't you just make a vid from it driving over a smooth surface?

Fine, fine, I'll stop being lazy and make a video

Afaik? Plz enlighten me acronymz are not my specialty :P

As far as I know.

It looks great but I expected to be a little faster and I think you could make a bumper that doesn't move when steering...

Other than that its great.

Started taking the car apart yesterday and found the problem with the moving bumper: some 3L pins were sticking out too far and the steering rack was clipping them. Too late now.. :sceptic:
