Posted October 28, 201410 yr Hello, I am new in "online" Lego world. I am looking for website which can generate table with type, color and quantity of bricks that I have. Based on the sets I own. One big summary table. I started adding my lego collection to brickset.com and I found it shows number of bricks in every set. But I need more in-depth analysis ;) Is there anything like that on the web? Thanks! Edited October 28, 201410 yr by Kalais
October 28, 201410 yr Author Great, thanks! :) It can be a little tricky, so I'll write how to do it. Maybe it will save some time for new people :) 1. Make account 2. Go to My RB>My Sets 3. Use Add Set or Import your Lego sets 4. Now go to My RB>My parts Now you can choose from: 5a. Click on Export to HTML Table (include set parts) or Export to HTML Grid (include set parts) It is important to click on the "include set parts"! :) or 5b. Check Display > Set Parts checkbox and hit big red button "Update"
October 28, 201410 yr Also you might check out Basebrick Basebrick.com I have been using it and I like the features available. Andy D Edited October 28, 201410 yr by Andy D
October 28, 201410 yr I also use Basebrick. It has some good filtering options that I find very useful.
October 29, 201410 yr I use basebrick as well and it is especially useful if you normally buy individual parts like from bricklink. It certainly saves me a lot of time when ordering parts to do a quick check on basebrick to see if I have the parts already instead of digging through my collection. You even have the option to export your collection to a tab-delimited file if you want view in it a spreadsheet program.
October 30, 201410 yr Author Rebrickable did job for me, but I will try basebrick too. So many ppl recommend it. Thanks!
November 4, 201410 yr Author Finally I had some time to test both of those sites and... ended up using them both and export/import data between them :) Rebrickable wins with one big table for all "my parts" and overall site design. Basebrick wins with easier search mode for specific brick and bigger database of images for all kind of faces/torso etc. Many of my parts got no image on Rebrickable...
