Izzy Posted July 3, 2007 Posted July 3, 2007 Well that's a shame. You could have had some cool drinks (not pepsi sorry) with lego-shaped ice cubes courtesy of hinckley39. Ahh well, more for me!Would me making muffins in... ...change your mind? What a brilliant idea. Hmm, nice warm chocolatey muffins *wub* . What a shame indeed that Norry doesn't ever ever want to be here sharing these lovely moments, in our beautiful freezing country X-D . Don't forget about me Hinkley ;-) ... I'm here in this unfortunate overlooked by Lego country too. :-P Quote
captaintau Posted July 3, 2007 Posted July 3, 2007 What a brilliant idea. Hmm, nice warm chocolatey muffins Ah, yeah, I love a bit of muff in the morning. ;-) Quote

Hinckley Posted July 3, 2007 Author Posted July 3, 2007 by the way hinckley you know i was just joking right? X-D Oh sure. Thanks for checking in. X-D I have no room to take anyone's jokes too seriously as I am always joking, myself. To be honest, I think it's dangerous to misquote people, but in this case I appreciated the Stephen Colbert reference as I love that show and that's something he would totally do. Plus, the stinckley made me laugh out loud X-D Again, thanks for checking and no hard feelings... *sweet* EDIT: Hey Izzy! Here's a little something to help vent your >:-( at captainTau: If you like that sig-fig I made you an avatar too: :-$ Quote
Izzy Posted July 4, 2007 Posted July 4, 2007 EDIT: Hey Izzy! Here's a little something to help vent your >:-( at captainTau: If you like that sig-fig I made you an avatar too: :-$ OMG!!! *wub* That is hilarious and awesome. Thanks Hinkley! You're a champion, you've made me feel much better and desperatley spoilt :-D ! Quote
Starwars4J Posted July 4, 2007 Posted July 4, 2007 Uh oh, are we gonna have a "Kill Captain Tau" contest after the Jar Jar one? Quote
Hinckley Posted July 4, 2007 Author Posted July 4, 2007 OMG!!! *wub* That is hilarious and awesome. Thanks Hinkley! You're a champion, you've made me feel much better and desperatley spoilt :-D ! You are certainly welcome! Uh oh, are we gonna have a "Kill Captain Tau" contest after the Jar Jar one? Maybe not kill. Maybe just a "Bonk Captain Tau on the Head" contest. "Whack-a-Tau!" :-D Hey, do you want to? I think it'd be fun. I guess we should ask Tau first. You know, if anyone deserves to be roasted in that way for joking, it's me. But, this isn't about me, it's about Tau. Let's ask him, he's a good sport. I've already got several ideas for an entry... Quote
Siegfried Posted July 4, 2007 Posted July 4, 2007 Hey Izzy! Here's a little something to help vent your >:-( at captainTau: I hope you plan on changing her back. As much as I would love to be a Mini-fig, after a while the in-ability to scratch my... face would become annoying. :-P (I love it! *wub* I hope she uses it.) Quote
Izzy Posted July 4, 2007 Posted July 4, 2007 <------------ See :-D ! I've got the Avatar! and I love it! Quote
Sir Dillon Posted July 4, 2007 Posted July 4, 2007 Haha... wow, this thread makes me laugh. :-D I'm one of the ones who actually bought an ice cube tray, not because I want to show it off to my friends, or wear my hobby on my sleeve, but because I enjoy having my ice cubes in the shape of Lego! I suppose that's all there is to it, really... :-) I also want a Lego shirt, for similar reasons. Quote

You're not alone! :-/ Apparently I am the only EB member who wouldn't a. want to buy the ice cube tray or b. dare to refuse a free one. I thought I'd post this thread and people would read it and chuckle, think "Oh that Hinckley. What a weiner" Then, there'd be a couple of posts like 'yeah, that's weird' and it would fade into oblivion. My own mother called me tonight, she has an obsession with this LEGO calculator but she wants it to be like the old one where the buttons were bricks, and she says "I was going to buy you the salt and pepper shaker" and I said "Please don't. Buy me a recycle truck instead if you want to spend money on LEGOs for me." But, yeah. Look at this thread! It's on it's fifth page and the topics have spanned from LEGO kitchen accessories to a planned cookout in Australia at Sinner's House to a rousing game of "Whack-a-Tau" BTW, is anyone else up for that? We should ask him if he's cool with it. I think it'd be fun... Quote
oo7 Posted July 4, 2007 Posted July 4, 2007 God. This thread is insane. :-D I would not waste my money on it in a store, but I would accept a free one with pleasure. ;-) <------------ See :-D ! I've got the Avatar! and I love it! I would guess Mr. Sinner uses the inferior Mozilla Firefox, and thus still sees your avatar as the original one. I, using Internet Explorer, and you, using safari* see it as the new one. *I think? Quote
Sir Dillon Posted July 4, 2007 Posted July 4, 2007 Yeah, I agree that I'd probably rather have actual Lego, but these are fun too. And when I got mine, I was getting a lot of other stuff too, and this was more of an add on. I don't think I would've made a separate order for it. And I might be up for wacking Tau, too. :-D Quote

oo7 Posted July 4, 2007 Posted July 4, 2007 007, I believe sinner's post came before she changed the avatar...mystery solved I believe not. It's still displaying as the old image in Mozilla. *Waits for Mr. Sinner to confirm* Quote

Using the hole-ridden IE that degrades the internet as a whole due to not meeting standards when compared to Firefox which, besides being much more secure and meeting standards thereby allowing programmers to better make use of their talents, is much more customizable! Siegfried Posted July 4, 2007 Posted July 4, 2007 (edited) I would guess Mr. Sinner uses the inferior Mozilla Firefox, and thus still sees your avatar as the original one. Hey! That's not true. >:-( I hate >:-) >:-) FireFox >:-) >:-) . I used to use it but I found it too unstable and I have been using *wub* *wub* Opera *wub* *wub* for about 2 years now. However, it is possible that I did post that after she had already changed it as; 1. I wrote that post while I was burning a DVD so I wrote it S L O W. 2. It was only ten minutes after she posted her message. 3. I have on my network a cache to speed up web access and sometimes it can be a bit S L O W to realise an image or page has changed. Hinckley Posted July 4, 2007 Author Posted July 4, 2007 (How off topic can this thread get?) >:-) Is that a challenge? Seriously, maybe we should get back on topic. And the topic is...um...it's...um...yes, I type my thinking stammers...um...this thread is about... Hey, if Tau won't let us whack him, we should have a whack-a-hinckley contest. That sounds perverted. Maybe a Whack-a-Mark vig contest. It may not be the kill jar jar contest but it'd be fun! I think we'd have a lot of entries too. Honestly, who hasn't wanted to bonk me on the head at one point or another? Yeah? Or do we want to continue discussing cross-browser compatibility between IE and Fir *sad* (he's not sad he's sleeping) zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz EDIT: Read this thread from beginning to end, it's really amazing how it evolved... Using the hole-ridden IE that degrades the internet as a whole due to not meeting standards when compared to Firefox which, besides being much more secure and meeting standards thereby allowing programmers to better make use of their talents, is much more customizable! Bah, customization! As long as it gets from point A to point B and displays everything correctly. Plus, IE puts all my temporary internet files conveniently in my contentIE5 folder, while Mozilla hides them away in "My Downloads" or something. *wacko* I don't see how you can call IE hole ridden. :-P Mozilla is the one with a multitude of glitches around each and every corner! I can't read the posts with the quotations in all the older threads! Hey! That's not true. >:-( I hate >:-) >:-) FireFox >:-) >:-) . Sir Dillon Posted July 4, 2007 Posted July 4, 2007 Whack-a-Tau on! you ask him... :-$ Goshdarnit, you make me do everything! :-| Tau, do you mind if we whack you? Pretty please? Hinckley, I wouldn't mind whacking you either... I'm pretty much up for whacking anyone (your right, this does sound dirty :-$ ) but I don't own your head, so I would have trouble whacking you... I'm pretty much up for whacking anyone (your right, this does sound dirty :-$ ) but I don't own your head, so I would have trouble whacking you... :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D Oh, it's official. This thread is whacked! Sir Dillon, That's the best post ever! Okay, we'll whack me, give me an hour and I'll post a contest. Awesome awesome awesome. SD, I'm Hagrid's Head. Take Hagrid's beard off and whack that head, that's me. Everyone forgive me. I'm on Vicodin and part of my body is being held together by staples and I'm bored. And I'm convinced this is the best thread ever. So thanks for playing with me, let's talk about ice cube trays and junk or whatever, but don't ever let this thread die! And yes, talking about which browser you prefer will kill it >:-( And all right I stopped taking the Vicodin a couple of days ago, so I'm can't even use that excuse. I guess I'm just a little looney! *wacko* Whack me on! Quote
oo7 Posted July 4, 2007 Posted July 4, 2007 I would love to have a huge EB whacking fest, but I don't own Hinckely's head or his torso (I do own his legs, arms, hands, and hat, however) along with Tau's head. Then I was thinking "Oh, I could just use a ninja to represent Tau!" but then I realized "Goshdarnit, I don't own any ninjas either!" I have all the pieces for Dillion however......and I'm sure I could make a makeshift Izzie......... Oh, and I continue to support my theory that you, Mr. Larson, consume to much caffine. Quote
