Hinckley Posted July 4, 2007 Author Posted July 4, 2007 So there were no foul play intented from my side. Yeah, me neither. You know I'm just having fun, right Tau? If not, accept my apologies and please know that I have nothing but respect for you! *sweet* Quote

captaintau Posted July 4, 2007 Posted July 4, 2007 Well then, carry on... >:-) >:-) I certainly will. X-D Oh and can I suggest a new rule for the vig' contest? They must be free-standing - no supports, no wires or anything. Overlapping fine, but must be self-balanced. Quote

Overlapping fine, but must be self-balanced. I kind of already said that was okay. Stauder asked if he could enter his bonking with a fishing boat vig and I said that was cool. May I ask why you want that rule? Quote

May I ask why you want that rule? Because a couple of the entries looked to be getting a bit out of hand I know, I'll "whack" you with a minifig-held Cafe Corner! Or better yet a DS 2! Quote

Or better yet a DS 2! You took the words right out of my mouth, or fingers as it were. That's a good point. It's funny, I was just thinking the exact same thing as I was trying to imagine why that rule would be a good one-someone getting bonked with the cafe corner... But, I think it's safe to leave that up to taste. I think the out of hand will be out-voted by the creative. At least I'd like to think so. It's a great idea for a rule, but I've already allowed one. I could say the whacking mechanism cannot be on a baseplate..??!! But I think we'll just have to leave it. Too bad you weren't around last night when we were formulating this brilliant idea. Then again, if you were, it might be a totally different contest. So, did you like, make the muffin comment and run on purpose? X-D Quote

Fair point. So, did you like, make the muffin comment and run on purpose? X-D Didn't run. I'm a member of several forums (though this is the only LEGO one) so was on-line for a while after. To be honest, I'd forgotten I'd even made it until I came on-line tonight. But then, why would I remember an innocuous comment about my breakfast preferences? 8-| Quote

john cleese Posted July 5, 2007 Posted July 5, 2007 Mr. cleese can i just say your a great member here at EB! And i have a crush on you, which is why i treat you like i do. yet i also feel unworthy to even clean the soles of your shoes with my tongue. I also realize that you are no more sensitive than any other member here at eb, you just find it unfair that someone you dont know seems to have nothing but contempt for you, as any rational being would. of course you can John cleese taking matters into his own hands since 1907 Quote

Sir Dillon Posted July 5, 2007 Posted July 5, 2007 How on Earth did we go from a Lego ice cube tray to fornicating words from Aussie country ?? laugh_new.gif Its a nice shift though but quite a leap from both !! Athos Posted July 5, 2007 Posted July 5, 2007 Well, why not buy several? Because they cost too much... I got one for my birthday and then got a free one with Market Street, so I could make a respectable glass of iced-tea now... Steve Quote
SirNadroj Posted July 5, 2007 Posted July 5, 2007 You know, its kinda not even worth the time of filling the tray with water, then put it in the freezer, hoping that it won't spill on the way, then wait for it to freeze... :'-( Quote
Piranha Posted July 6, 2007 Posted July 6, 2007 Hmm only got to page nine of this insane madness thread :-D :-D However it was very funny I still think the ice cube trays are decent and I would accept one for free from TLG :-) Lego ice cubes are cool and a jello maker 8- Quote
Darth_Legois Posted July 6, 2007 Posted July 6, 2007 Hey now, I'm all for joking around but please don't purposely misquote me, even for a joke. I want to make it very clear that I did not, nor will I apologize to you for anything I've said in this thread.EDIT: Sorry to take a break for dramatic relief. Fun on! Izzy, root beer is a soda.
