Can someone tell me if the chess pawns (especially the foot soldiers) are made from Chinese plastic or regular good quality plastic.

It should have where the parts were made on the bottom of the box, It also depends where you bought it, e.g. the chinese factory mainly supplies the asian market.

It's just that I got some Kingdom battlepacks and 2 of the figures in each pack are made from Chinese plastic... So I thought of buying some chess pawns to increase my army.

I seem to recall that the review of the set here on Eurobricks stated that the figures were indeed made of the cheaper Chinese plastic. Sorry to dissapoint you.

I think one main problem was not necessarily the quality of the plastic, but the printing effect. The red on white caused a lot of bleeding (pink) coloring.

I haven't purchased any, but have considered it in the past.

Okay, thank you all. Then I will not be buying them. The Chinese plastic kingdoms figures I have look terrible next to the normal figures so too bad...
