TheNextLegoDesinger Posted March 31, 2015 Posted March 31, 2015 Hi , just an update I have put 2 sbricks in the red version of this car and they work really well , had a lot of fun in a car parking lot with the extra range about 30 meters with an Iphone 5s . why 2 Sbricks? Quote
darksheep Posted March 31, 2015 Posted March 31, 2015 why 2 Sbricks? I did this so that each rc motor would have its own battery powering it. Quote
waffleforbreakfast Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 How does the differential lock affect the overall performance? I'm building my own version of this and I am wondering whether or not it's really worth it to get one of the red thingies for it. Quote
piterx Posted July 28, 2015 Author Posted July 28, 2015 Naaah, works fine even without :) turns better too Quote
jono rocky Posted July 28, 2015 Posted July 28, 2015 This is a really professional looking car. Than kyou for making the car and thanks to Zimix and Alasdair Ryan for the instructions. My son plans on raiding the lego and making it when he gets home from school. Quote

yowelin Posted October 25, 2015 Posted October 25, 2015 Hello, piterx! I have some questions about RC for you Ford Fiesta. 1. How many RC units should I use? 2. Why both receivers must be on the same channel? if you plug motor to different receivers, but to the same color, they will rotate axe in the different directions, but they should not do this. Motors are very expansive an I have only one receiver. So , I do not want to waste money. Please explain me how it must work please. Quote
bj51 Posted October 29, 2015 Posted October 29, 2015 (edited) 1. Do you talk about motors or something else ? This car only has RC motors, two of them. 2. They're on the same channel because then you only have to have one remote. And the reason why you have two receivers is because each motor has its own battery. If you plug your motors the same way (don't plug one at 90° of the other), they'll rotate in the same direction. Edited October 29, 2015 by bj51 Quote
