I have over 10,000 spare parts and just use ziplock bags, i bought a couple of hundread off Ebay and spent the last few days separating each part by number and colour....every spare drawer is stuffed full....lol!

What country are you in?

If your in the uk then if you want one with lots of little drawers, amazon has some decent looking ones (havent actually bought any of these) if you search for "draper parts organiser"

I've got a couple of these:

and some more of these:

they had them in my local store and it was the cheapest I found them.

There is a really excellent thread in LEGO General discussion on storage and sorting. It is about 45 pages long (at this time) but well worth a read. It had almost everything anyone could want to do with storage and sorting. I still refer to it often.

I hope this helps,

Just search for Akro-Mils 10164 on amazon and start from there. Plenty of variety.

Those ones are really good quality! I was really amazed at them but the one I bought only came with a few seperators so I had to use them sparingly.

@NXT45 I only bought one of the 64 case and 3 x the 24 case model. The seperators are limited but a thin piece of cardboard works although I haven't tried. You can also buy a sheet of acrylic from the hardware store and cut like 30 of them for only a few dollars. Two reasons I went with Akro-mils, 1.) Perfect for table top/desk space saver, 2.) I never like stacking sorting bins because before you know it you have 20 of them laying all over the place!!!!

Hi , I have chosen a different solution i bought all this small drawls that lock together this lets me get may different size drawl all together.

This way i can swap things around and make it easy to reach the most common elements when building.

I also chose this method because it was cheap , each draw cost me about $1 .

Please let me know what you thing about my solution and any potential issues I might have.

Wow! Great solution! I use the bins like you have under the desk (right side) I like this much better. Where did you get them?

I got them from an electronics shop(Mantech) in south Africa , so I am sure if you find a similar store where you stay they would have the same thing.

The bins draws on the left under my desk are used to hold all my lift arms and panels. They are nice and big ,also I don't thing my desk could support their weight .
