Thought you all might enjoy my latest model - a 'working' particle accelerator. Had a lot of fun creating the corny video for this one!

A few details on how it works can also be found on my website: http://jkbrickworks....le-accelerator/

that was awesome!

Dont mess with particles! Remember what happened at star lab

Neat. So that's how plates are created.

touthomme -- This is outstanding. One part of a GBC on steroids! I particularly like how the "particle" accelerates more with each loop.

Really great idea! And a very nice design of the particle accelerator!

OMG, I laughed... I was not expecting that outcome.

I'm speechless, if only the physicists in our lab are this useful. Well done!

:-D!!

I love physics with Lego, oh yesss  outstanding, perfect...

Trully loved it. Did not know what to expect and was clearly not disappointed.

That was awesome.

Wonderful, great idea!

Brilliant idea, brilliant implemetation, brilliant crash (lol).

I almost never watch the videos people post here, but that was great :-)

Fantastic!

Hey, Touthomme, you may be about to go viral, CNET has a bit on your model!

(Although now that I actually READ it, I guess you know they were going to.)

That's great and all, but:

What if a 1x1 round tile collides with another 1x1 round tile?

See, when a mommy 1x1 tile and a daddy 1x1 stud love each other very much, they "hug" in a special way and create something new and unique.

Good idea and the video is funny, or should I say A-maze-ing!

Neat. So that's how plates are created.

The question now is what will come up when two plates hit together.

And then take it smaller and smaller from there...

This is a nice build and a very enjoyable video. The "particle" moving was very satisfying, but the ramping up speed and the joke at the end are great.

This is awesome! I'm a science nut and this is just great, the Flash is all that missing.

Saw this and just had to go watch the lhc rap again. Science is fun!
