February 14, 201510 yr That looks really good! And I like how the head walls neatly fit against the front face. Oh, speaking of which, any chance of a pic of the front? Interior looks nice and spacey which is pretty cool!
February 16, 201510 yr congratulations! I just wanted to say that I've been observing your progress on this for a while and it's really great to see, keep it up!

March 7, 20159 yr Interesting :D have you tried with the full length legs and with weights on the flat top representing the weight of the body/head?
March 7, 20159 yr Congratulations with your son! The scale of this looks fantastic, I'm keeping a close eye on this topic.

March 28, 20159 yr Author Second floor with walls: Whole behemoth: Head isn't too bulky ? Edited March 28, 20159 yr by La Chupacabra
March 28, 20159 yr Nope, if you look at source pictures of the movie model, youll see its actually fairly sized compared with the body.
April 1, 20159 yr Really like what you did with the head design and shape:) It's tinier than my big at-at head from pete design, but look accurate and not fragile:)
April 13, 20159 yr Hey, this is looking very cool... quick question re the legs. Any idea how Cavegod gets them to angle? Straight up and down legs is ok but I am worried that it looks very static. Ideally walkers should walk. I think he had rubber tyres as soles for friction. Not sure how he did the hip / shoulder angles. - edit - ok I just saw the pictures with the technic hinge dookicky. Is this strong enough? Man I hope so. Edited April 13, 20159 yr by gavralcraw
April 13, 20159 yr May I suggest updating the OP, so one doesn't have to rifle through the thread to see the progress?
April 13, 20159 yr Author Hey, this is looking very cool... quick question re the legs. The body is quite heavy. Hips are not able to bear that weight. So i redesign hips a litte bit to attach them with two additional points to the body. To achieve angle of legs I have made room inside of leg to attach hinge. So far i don't know if legs withstand weight of the body. May I suggest updating the OP, so one doesn't have to rifle through the thread to see the progress? I will do it after my work is finished.
