MiloNelsiano Posted December 1, 2014 Posted December 1, 2014 Was there a winner for prize group G? I only see through F. Or does group G rotate in on even days like the turtles did last year? Quote
Darth Brick Posted December 1, 2014 Posted December 1, 2014 Prizes A, F and D will be good for me. But, as we say here too: Do not look a gift horse in the mouth :) Congrats to the first winners! Quote
MAB Posted December 1, 2014 Posted December 1, 2014 Was there a winner for prize group G? I only see through F. Or does group G rotate in on even days like the turtles did last year? Do you need to widen your browser window? Quarryman was winner for prize G. Quote
Siegfried Posted December 1, 2014 Posted December 1, 2014 That "The Flash" figure - is he a custom or is there an advent style calendar available with that one in? It's a place holder. CopMike is still waiting on parts. Was there a winner for prize group G? I only see through F. Or does group G rotate in on even days like the turtles did last year? Yes, as MAB said it's there. But you got me worried! (I actually wanted to widen the page but as you so kindly proved the world probably isn't ready yet.) Quote
ResIpsaLoquitur Posted December 1, 2014 Posted December 1, 2014 Don't the odds change from day to day as well? I think last year somebody calculated our odds of winning on a particular day based on the number of entrants and how many had won by each day. So if there were 210 entrants, everyone left is now competing against 204 over 23 days. Quote
MAB Posted December 1, 2014 Posted December 1, 2014 It's a place holder. CopMike is still waiting on parts. OK, he looks pretty cool, and easy enough to make myself. I wondered if a store somewhere had commissioned a Santa Flash. Quote

rodiziorobs Posted December 1, 2014 Posted December 1, 2014 I actually wanted to widen the page but as you so kindly proved the world probably isn't ready yet.[/size] I view the page on mobile, and I can't see it either, unless I highlight the link as if I were to click on it. It's no problem for me to do that, but maybe you'd like to know. Quote
Blakstone Posted December 1, 2014 Posted December 1, 2014 I am hoping for either F or A. Regardless of whether I win anything or not, this had been really fun. Thanks CopMike and Sinner. The winner of Prize G was hidden for me as the font color matched the background on my iPhone. After clicking where it should be, I found the winner. Then the font color changed since it was a previously viewed link. Quote
MiloNelsiano Posted December 1, 2014 Posted December 1, 2014 Yes, as MAB said it's there. But you got me worried! Good to know. I am also viewing from an iPhone which is probably the problem, as others have already pointed out. Thanks for your programming magic Sinner! Quote
Niku Posted December 1, 2014 Posted December 1, 2014 I just noticed the back picture of the advent calendar, those are a lot of husky dogs. Little mermaid. And white Batman. Quote
Navy Trooper Fenson Posted December 1, 2014 Posted December 1, 2014 All prizes look very good except G and D. Looking at the odds I hope everybody gets their favorite prize. Looking at the odds there won´t be many people left out. Quote

I was hoping to improve that photo but I ran out of time... and by the time I'll have the time you won't be able to see much! But I love those huskies! Quote
dr_spock Posted December 1, 2014 Posted December 1, 2014 (edited) Was there a winner for prize group G? I only see through F. Or does group G rotate in on even days like the turtles did last year? Are you using an iPad? I don't see the winner of G on my iPad but it shows the picture of the prize G. On my laptop with Firefox, the name of winner of G appears above the picture of prize G. Strange, eh? Edited December 1, 2014 by dr_spock Quote
Darth Brick Posted December 1, 2014 Posted December 1, 2014 I understand that the mix of Marvel and DC characters in prizes D and F is intentional? Quote
Blakstone Posted December 1, 2014 Posted December 1, 2014 Darth Brick, it does appear intentional since they are both balanced with the same ratio from each. Quote
MAB Posted December 1, 2014 Posted December 1, 2014 All prizes look very good except G and D. Really? The Tumbler exclusive Batman is a pretty cool prize. And there's always room for Jawas and droids. Quote

I think last year somebody calculated our odds of winning on a particular day based on the number of entrants and how many had won by each day. So if there were 210 entrants, everyone left is now competing against 204 over 23 days. So here's a interesting fact for you: as the days pass your overall odds of winning go down since there are fewer days remaining. But your odds of winning on any given day go up since there are fewer contestants remaining in the raffle Give that a thought... Quote
Cara Posted December 1, 2014 Posted December 1, 2014 Oh my!!! Oh my, Unikitties!!!!!! (In case I'm lucky enough to win something but someone wants to trade later) Now for the long wait. Nice front picture to the calender. Day 17 is funny. Quote
ResIpsaLoquitur Posted December 1, 2014 Posted December 1, 2014 (edited) I do encourage everyone to keep up hope. I went 23 days being prizeless last year and got a nice surprise on day 24. :) I will say that I already have a complete GOTG set, so if I win Prize E I'll be happy to swap with someone. But as someone mentioned earlier if you click where the name should be it goes to the link and then the text changes colors and you can see it. Quote
CM4Sci Posted December 1, 2014 Posted December 1, 2014 Wow, these prizes are amazing! Though Prize packs C and G aren't too appealing. I have most of the figures in A and E, but I'll always take more Unikitties! Super Heroes are cool too! Can't wait to see what I win, if anything! -Sci Quote
autobrick Posted December 1, 2014 Posted December 1, 2014 Wow, I wasn't expecting to win a prize on the first day. I can't say that I'm into Chima at all, but I'm still looking forward to seeing what these figs are actually like. Anyways, a big 'Thank You!' to CopMike, Sinner and the rest of the staff who organized this raffle. Quote
ultron32 Posted December 1, 2014 Posted December 1, 2014 This is probably the best set of prizes yet (since I joined Eurobricks that is). Thanks so much as always Copmike for this amazing tradition. Prize A is super-duper awesome. Also the two Tumbler minifigures ;) Quote
LegoFjotten Posted December 2, 2014 Posted December 2, 2014 Nice! After lucking out last year I won something early on this year! And that Tumbler Batman doesn't look too bad either... :D Thanks CopMike & Sinner! Quote
