Jeroen Ottens Posted November 27, 2014 Posted November 27, 2014 Where is that lbg 4pin with middle axle hole used??? To connect the 2 3x5 L-beams that hold the PB motor Quote
MajklSpajkl Posted November 27, 2014 Posted November 27, 2014 Yes, I see it, i used black double pin connector with a hole in the middle :-( Quote
shimon Posted November 27, 2014 Posted November 27, 2014 Now seriously guys the second cylinder would be visible here but it isn't.. Tried ldd from the same angle and it's supposed to be visible Quote
MajklSpajkl Posted November 27, 2014 Posted November 27, 2014 @Shimon: I agree, but those photos are heavily altered by photo editing software and that one v cylinder might have fallen out while editing... If that cylinder is all you're missing you should do fine :-) I alao think, that it is not possible to reproduce all the angkes of real photos in LDD, perspective is different. Quote

MajklSpajkl Posted November 27, 2014 Posted November 27, 2014 I think there should be no "discounts" - many could also ask that for the invisible parts, but there is no point in the whole challenge then... Quote
R0Sch Posted November 27, 2014 Posted November 27, 2014 I saw the second cylinder from the picture below. It is the only one where it is barely visible... now to see how many mistakes I did Quote
shimon Posted November 27, 2014 Posted November 27, 2014 Still if a picture shows a blank space and there's a part there it's not normal and should be considered. Quote

True. Yes that one picture is altered and the cylinder not visible, even though LDD shows it, but the rules are there to not leave any room for interpretation. Still, the challenge was pretty darn challenging and fun to do. Don't you think? Quote
Tomik Posted December 5, 2014 Posted December 5, 2014 There are building instructions for quad bike already available on lego.com: http://cache.lego.com/bigdownloads/buildinginstructions/6124828.pdf Quote
MajklSpajkl Posted August 25, 2015 Posted August 25, 2015 I apologise to bump this old topic, but what's happened to this Techreverse 2014 in the end? It just occured to me that I don't recall it being finished at all. I still have my self-controlling list of flaws, but I don't remember Conchas announcing any results on this? Thanks for info and sorrry again for bringing this up. Best regards, miha Quote
Tomik Posted August 26, 2015 Posted August 26, 2015 I think it wasn't finished. I haven't got any request for list of flaws from Conchas either. We might ask him what has happened. Quote
Conchas Posted September 4, 2015 Posted September 4, 2015 You're absolutely right! :( I need to end this process as soon as my personal affairs allow me move forward with this topic. Unfortunately it has been in the to do list and bugging me for too long. :( It took me also too long to manage to get the prizes this time, but anyway they already arrived for more than 1 month. MajklSpajkl Posted September 4, 2015 Posted September 4, 2015 No problem, thx for info. You'll manage when you will, I guess we all understand... Quote
