Christmas!

On the topic of Christmas, one thing that you can never do too early is to grab the Advent Calendar sets for your kids. The City, Star Wars, and Friends sets are all sold out in the US. If you plan to get your kids or yourself one, get to a store immediately. It seems like they all sold out last year before December as well.

Last year I had no trouble finding them but this year they seemed to sell out everywhere. Last year I picked up the City and Star Wars calendars in late November on clearance for 50% off. This year I had to search for them and sadly had to pay full price for them. Next year if Costco has them in August again, I'll pick them up.

Christmas is only a month away. Are we excited yet?

certainly am! I'm probably get the tree put up this weekend, should I have the time.

And I'm hoping that the new bionicle will be out by Christmas, that would make it just perfect!

My daughter is pretty excited about Christmas lights and trees, so we put the tree up today. In the process, I found a small battery-powered, outdoor string of lights and figured the LEDs fit in pin holes...

Thanksgiving dinner has been eaten, the lights have been put up. Today marks the day when Christmas begins for me.

Consider me ready. Tree gets put up later in the month, though. Next week maybe.

It's FINALLY the time where it feels acceptable to listen to Christmas music on the radio.

Normally we put the tree up on Thanksgiving, but we swapped it up and are waiting for this weekend for it. Also planning on being out of town to visit family for the holidays, too.
