I'm 10 and I have said it many times, and I don't seem to banned /chambered so I guess I am mature enough. Also, I joined after the age limit, so I lied. The reason I joined was even I, got tired of spammy kids *cough*BZP*cough* even though I am still a kid. Hope fully that makes sense? *wacko*

Perfectly. And therefore, you should have no problems here.

It's when kids get incoherent beyond words, spam things up and are downright disrespectful that they get nailed.

Can I also ask why was the age limit implemented? Surely adults can be just as / moreso inclined to act immature / spam / flame etc

Though I'm not sure if it has relevance to EURObricks, in the USA you can't store some types of personal data on children 13 and under on websites. So, 13 is a good age to assume people will act like morons AND it might be serving a legal need.

But let it be known now... the above statement was made while I was talking out my butt. :-D

If you want to stay here and you've been a decent member, I wouldn't advise bragging that you are under the age limit and so mature because you get to stay. Bragging is, in my mind, not very mature. So enough with the comparisons on how mature you are and just give yourself a pat on the back that you get to stay.

Well the day we wrote the statement and I hit the "implement" button, I thougt "nobody will read it, even though it is only 10 lines of text".

Guess I was right.

Why 18 ? because that's the legal age for being an adult in most European countries. We were also fed up to read some kids posts spamming around with "megabluck" written every two words. Then we were fed up with the kids who were offended by reading "megabluck" and who were showing the website to their parents, then asking us to erase those words from our website (real).

Stop bragging that you are below the age limit. It's like you're trying to get chambered :-|

Down, Chuck, Down! ;-) It doesn't sound that way to me. Sounds like he is trying to be friendly and open to constructive criticism. I think it is a nice sentiment.

hollisbrick, so far you seem like a good member to me. That is, of course, only my opinion. You certainly ask a lot of questions, but how else do you learn, right? Luckily, there are lots of friendly people to help you out and welcome you. ;-)

Sure, you are below the age limit, but from what I've seen, they let the cool ones stick around, and so far you are all right! *sweet* *y* Take care, have fun and welcome to our friendly community.

Indeed those that are cool are safe, as are those that signed up before the age limit was put in place.

However if you mis-behave then you are more than likely to be banned.

So behave and you will be fine. :-)
