Phoxtane Posted April 1, 2015 Posted April 1, 2015 How big of a cap do you have installed in the CSX? Quote
PasDeChocolat Posted April 1, 2015 Posted April 1, 2015 Really these are marvels . Both trains are close to perfect in my opinion. Congratulation for the achievement. On another hand, I'm also planning to get rid of the Power function IR command. I was thinking to use wifi (esp8266). Nowadays, I'm more looking toward a 433Mz solution. Could you explain more on your control mods? Quote
legoman666 Posted April 1, 2015 Author Posted April 1, 2015 (edited) How big of a cap do you have installed in the CSX? It's 3600uF, rated for 25V. About 3 studs dia x 4 long. I have an ammeter on the track and I can see the current spike when the train hits a powered track segment :) Really these are marvels . Both trains are close to perfect in my opinion. Sure thing, I've built several of these: https://github.com/codefox421 http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=87340 they work very well. Thanks all!
