Ugh, no clue. College Humor?

Nope, it's an actual movie, believe it or not.

A couple hints:

  • British movie, not American.
  • Musical comedy.
  • Filmed during WWII.
  • Several well known(at least in Britain) British comedians appeared in it.
  • In the public domain, and available for free viewing over at the Internet Archive.

Bees in Paradise is pushing the obscurity level a bit far, Lind Whisperer!

Sorry about that. I haven't even heard of a lot of the films that have already been mentioned, let alone seen them, so I wasn't quite sure how high the bar was set.

Either way, good job, deraven! Your turn!

Nah, it's all good- lots of different ages, localities, and interests on the board so you never know! Good of you to pop back in with a hint rather than killing the thread! :classic:

So here's one that's really not a great movie, but when I was 15 or so I quite enjoyed it and it's still a great Marx Brothers homage:

I'm glad someone knew. I can't tell one Jim Carrey movie from another.

WHich Jim Carrey movie?

If you refer to UHF: that one stars Weird Al Yankovic and Michael 'Kramer from Seinfeld' Richards.

One of my favorite* still shots:

Not a random brick-film - this was "LEGO-culturally" significant enough that it got referenced in The LEGO Movie.

*I originally wanted to post a shot from the extremely well-done opening sequence, but it would be too hard to tell what it is.

The Magic Portal. I loved this.

If I'm right, give me a day. I need to think of a challenging one.

It doesn't need to be too challenging. A lot of the movies recently posted have been too obscure for me
