The second one (above) was used by mahjqa in one of his vehicles, the metal grudge. A very clever use though.

Above post beat me to it by mere seconds ...

Or 30s..... But anyway, parts like this can be very useful in certain circumstances.

...now I must admit I never used that in any project...

Incidentally, I just ordered 4 such parts from BL ... will figure out one way to use them.

I have never needed them once in the ~15 years I now own them.

I thought so too, but recently I've found some use for them. Need to join two parts of your model together but there's a cross-beam in the way? This puppy's got you sorted (so long as there's space for that long pin-hole).

Also, the rim and tyre of these wheels

fit nicely in the gap in the beam when you attach the wheel to the long pin-hole.

How about this one? I only have one ... and somehow it's a part that never took off. It appeared in few bionicle sets, and only one StarWars ...

I can't think of where one would use it though.

I just bought two of those connectors because I was buying in this store anyway and I saw them for the first time (I'm not much into Bionicle and SW).

The future will show what they're useful for – or if I'll post them in this thread again ;-)

That is no wonder because the liftarm was the suspension for exactly this tire in the blue motorcycle.
