On the opposite here in Poland. PR was expensive but they added yet another 10 euros on top of that for DO. That means I'm not buying it. Not for that price anyway.

I am hoping Myer have a 20% off sale in Jan and get stock of the DA at the same time.

I am not sure i came out of my dark ages with the PR bought from Myer around April this year. I am not sure if they had stock in Jan though but they seem to only get a pile of modulars with each sale event and you have to get in on day 1 to buy one.

Does anyone know how to build the tank part of the water tower. Ive been trying for days. Cant seem to figure it out.

Finally got a chance to watch the video by Jamie, and this is just so awesome! So much stories to tell. Geez, that is very wonderful as it does help to tell many neighbourhood tales. Way to go.

Just got mail from Lego that January 5th is double points day for VIPs who also ordered on Brick Friday early access, November 22nd.

The mail suggests DA is available on that date.

^Sounds good, but I'm afraid that waiting until 5th January could mean finding that DO is temporarily out of stock.

That would be very disappointing.

I was planning to combine two DOs, the second one as a mirror image, to make a 16-wide detective's office, a 32-wide barbershop and a 16-wide something. Last night it occured to me what this something will have to be; a meth lab! That will give me the place where to put my Research Institute chemist vignette and I think it goes well with the shady feel of the DO as a whole. Something for the private eye to keep that eye on

Interesting. I may buy three of these to start with. Build one as designed and then take the other two, eliminate the blue side of the building and duplicate what you've done on the left side, add the same on the right side....... to create a full 32 wide brownstone type building that's a full three stories tall.

@salty that's exactly what I plan on doing. It looks so much better with the extra floor.

Looks a lot better and balanced with an extra floor! Maybe I could place my meth lab right above the detective's office.

This modular seems to make much more sense to me with an additional floor. I'd probably remove that second set of lights though.
