vitreolum Posted November 23, 2014 Posted November 23, 2014 (edited) Here's my entry for the contest. Enjoy and excuse the pathetic descriptions. :) Avalonia: 1. Royal Assasin The king's personal assasin, only summoned for the most delicate of missions. He's a ghost, not even the king know the face behind the mask. 2. Courtesan Only the highest members of society can afford her company. 3. Adventurer Brawling, drinking and wenching are the simple pleasure of this guy. Always looking for new quests and adventure, he's the musketeer of his time. 4. Sir Prancilot The knight tales of chivalry sing of. The envy of men and desire of women. Many are the tales of his legendary courage, yet nobody witness them. Nocturnus: 1. Lich Lord The dreaded lich lord is one of Nocturnus' most dangerous entities. A master of pestilential magic is evenly as dangerous with his poisoned blade. 2. Blackguard Skilled thief and mercenary for hire. 3. Lizardfolk Brute Though not an aggressive race, they will defend their lands with their last breath. 4. Witch of the Wilds An ancient being, dwells in the deep forests of Nocturnus. Mitgardia: 1. Mitgardian Light Infantry The backbone of every army, light and fast, they are a force to be reckoned with on the battlefield. 2. Dwarven Berzerker AAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRGH!!!! 3. Tavern Brawler This guy can be found in most taverns, always ready for a drinking contest or some arm wrestling. 4. Dwarven Engineer These dawfs are fabled for their tinkering skill. Kaliphlin: 1. Petraea Journalist Always on the lookout for a hot story. 2. Nobleman The filthy rich elite of Kaliphlin. 3. Hashashin Elite assassins for hire, their targets never escape. 4. Palace Guard Your average guy that wastes his life in front of a gate. Edited January 17, 2015 by vitreolum Quote
Graham Gidman Posted November 23, 2014 Posted November 23, 2014 (edited) Wow, these very well may best I've seen. Amazing combos! Edited November 23, 2014 by Graham Gidman Quote
Alfadas Posted November 23, 2014 Posted November 23, 2014 Very nice entry! Think the Nocturnus figs are the best, but also the dwarf berserker is awesome!!! Quote
mrcp6d Posted November 23, 2014 Posted November 23, 2014 Is that some sort of female stormtrooper armor on the Hashashin? If so, it looks pretty amazing re-purposed as medieval garb. Quote
robuko Posted November 24, 2014 Posted November 24, 2014 Great figs and great posing vitroleum. I really have to get mine posted, 2 of my ideas were just the same as yours! Quote
vitreolum Posted November 24, 2014 Author Posted November 24, 2014 Thanks! @mrcp6d It's this one: http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?M=sw501 @robuko Posted early for this very reason, especially since I don't collect cmf's my options are limited to sets, Quote
Dubbadgrim Posted November 24, 2014 Posted November 24, 2014 (edited) Already saw them on Flickr but I have to say I really like these creations, especially the quill and Dwarves axe . Also, the short descriptions mean I read all of them . When people post long stories it can be off putting and I would usually not read it. Edited November 24, 2014 by Dubbadgrim Quote
Jakorin Swiftsword Posted November 24, 2014 Posted November 24, 2014 Great stuff here! Really liking what I'm seeing. Quote
Mike S Posted November 24, 2014 Posted November 24, 2014 Great series! My favorites are the Lizardfolk Brute and the Dwarven Berzerker! The Samurai armor was the perfect solution for filling in the gap between the hairpiece and torso.... Quote
Slegengr Posted November 24, 2014 Posted November 24, 2014 Great series, Vitreolum! I like the lizardfolk brute and the adventurer (Aymer from your story sequence, if I am not mistaken). The idea for Sir Prancilot and his fitting appearance are great as well! Quote
Yzalirk Posted November 24, 2014 Posted November 24, 2014 Awesome minifigs! My favorite ones would have to be the Dwarven Engineer and the Kaliphlin Palace Guard! Quote
mccoyed Posted November 24, 2014 Posted November 24, 2014 Maybe my favorite series so far. Inventive posing and piece combinations. Quote
ZCerberus Posted November 24, 2014 Posted November 24, 2014 The pictures aren't working for me- anyone else not seeing them? Quote

SarahJoy Posted November 24, 2014 Posted November 24, 2014 Great entry! Your descriptions, though brief, are very effective. I especially like the Tavern Brawler and the Courtesan. Quote

vitreolum Posted November 25, 2014 Author Posted November 25, 2014 Are they showing now? I've set them to private on flickr and it seems the link was changed. Quote
Alfadas Posted November 25, 2014 Posted November 25, 2014 For me they are working again, first I could see them, then not and now I can again. Quote
Garmadon Posted November 25, 2014 Posted November 25, 2014 Yes, they are working now. Great series Vitreolum! My favorites are the Adventurer, Sir Prancilot, Mitgardian Light Infantry and the Kaliphinian Nobleman Quote
MassEditor Posted November 25, 2014 Posted November 25, 2014 My favorite series so far. Great group here, and as always I enjoy the humor in your posts! Some great guild satire, though I see you dealt seriously with the Nocturnians. Wise choice my friend, no one pokes fun at Nocty! Quote
vitreolum Posted November 25, 2014 Author Posted November 25, 2014 @Patrick Haha, just a coincidence, they turned out too badass to make fun of them. Quote
Hammerstein NWC Posted November 25, 2014 Posted November 25, 2014 some really nice combo's! love that Assassin which torso is that I'd really like to get that for my collection? Quote
