Posted November 26, 201410 yr When I made a post about my micro Nebulon B in scale with 75055 Imperial Star Destroyer, I joked that I might try to complement the wee Rebel fleet with a Tantive IV that was also in scale - and even smaller. Around six or seven studs long, in fact. as Corellian Corvettes are less than 1/10th the size of the Imperial Star Destroyer. This LDD mock-up is the best I could manage within the limitations of the scale and the limitations of LDD. It's a little bit chunky and a little bit too long (though since the Nebulon B is a little bit too long too, they're pretty much exactly in scale with each other), and the fez pieces are only available in dark red in LDD despite the fact that they clearly appear in white in the Tantive IV planet set :/ But I'm still pleased with how it turned out! The real trick was making the thruster block recognizable while having a size smaller than 1 thruster = 1 stud, but I think my solution looks great. It's also the main reason I can't build it at the moment, however - I only have two of the bar holder w/ clip piece in white, from Santa's Workshop, and getting nine more would be a bit of an endeavor. I also made a wee six-piece Millennium Falcon, this one even further out of scale. It should really be less than two studs, but building at that small a scale is just impossible. And here's how they look with the Nebulon B! I think they look better the more of them there are in the picture. Maybe I'll make a Rebel Transport next!
November 26, 201410 yr Awesome parts usage, especially the front sides and the rear engines! Doesnt get any smaller than that. Edited November 26, 201410 yr by Zblj
