Godtshep Posted November 26, 2014 Posted November 26, 2014 Fantastic layout! I love the road for the Stagecoach. Quote
Zerobricks Posted November 26, 2014 Posted November 26, 2014 Inspired by a Million ways to die in the West? I love the water stream and the city! Quote
technic70s Posted November 27, 2014 Author Posted November 27, 2014 Thanks "Godtshep" we used the same technic on a Monster Fighters diorama as well, just different colours. Spot on "Zblj" we got the idea stright from " Million ways to die in the West" very funny movie We also used the water technic in a "Friends" layout. Oh my, so many single studs, our poor fingers. TheLegoDr Posted November 28, 2014 Posted November 28, 2014 So how do the canoes go over the tracks? And how does the train go over the water? I'm confused Otherwise, the layout looks neat. I hadn't seen that movie (but I wasn't interested in seeing it..) Quote
lightningtiger Posted November 28, 2014 Posted November 28, 2014 Great looking layout there 'technic70s'........how many did you and your wife make ? Brick On ! Quote
Balbo Posted November 30, 2014 Posted November 30, 2014 Very nice . Your diorama looks fantastic! Quote
technic70s Posted December 17, 2014 Author Posted December 17, 2014 Thanks for the comments all. The tracks are lifted off the base plates by one plate, this way to allow the track to be attached and still allow the curves to work. So the water can just flow under the track. It was just a quick way to lay track for the diorama quickly, we were running out of time to do anything like ballasted track with is what I like to do usually. Krikkit Posted December 17, 2014 Posted December 17, 2014 I think I will forgive your model not being to scale or painted... Quote
technic70s Posted December 18, 2014 Author Posted December 18, 2014 I think I will forgive your model not being to scale or painted... The problrm is, your not thinking thinking fourth-dimensionally :-) Quote
TMJ28 Posted December 20, 2014 Posted December 20, 2014 Awesome set up, I like the river with the canoes and the road the stage coach is on. All of the modes of transportation look very realistic too! Quote
Captain Braunsfeld Posted December 25, 2014 Posted December 25, 2014 Good idea to combine these two topics (good ideas always seem obvious in hindsight). Quote
