KissP Posted June 14, 2016 Posted June 14, 2016 Hello Dalafik! First of all thanks for the C-model. I can't send you a PM so, I write it here. I made an instruction for your model primary for myself. It's probably far from professional (this is my first and probably last attempt), but I can managed to build the forklift from it. If you interested I can send you. If you find it good enough than you can share it. Quote
agrof Posted June 14, 2016 Posted June 14, 2016 Hello KissP, and welcome to the Eurobricks! Really good news, I (and probably many of us) would like to have a copy as well! @Dalafik: maybe the instructions could be shared public here and on Rebrickable. Would be nice. Quote
Bering Posted June 14, 2016 Posted June 14, 2016 I never liked te 42009 with it's slow and bad executed functions. This however, got my attention... what a MOC! Very interested in instructions... Quote

You are free to make and distribute instructions to this model any way you want as long as you indicate me as the model's designer. If you want me to update the Rebrickable page, make 10 dummy posts in the special section of this forum, so I could send you my email via PM. Quote

Or shall I say: köszi Hi Dalafik! I did the deigner's indication of course, it's your intellectual property not mine. I just made pdf instruction from your already stepped file. I wrote your name at the front page (upper right corner, "By Dalafik"), I hope it's enough. I coludn't find the special section, so I uploaded the file to the first site I could find. I am not sure how long it will be there. The link to it: http://www.filedropper.com/showdownload.php/heavydutyforklift To everyone else: my source was Dalafik's already stepped file. I only did some minor adjustments, so two important thing: - I couldn't see well the black parts in the instruction, so I recolored them to pink. I know, I know.... Not to manly - Because I'm not an expert on this, I followed the original stepping. I was able to build the model from the pdf instruction, but sometimes adding the pieces was tricky or I had to unassemble a part from the model, add the new, and then add the "old-one" again. I made the instruction with the program called LIC. If anyone can use the program better the me and wants to finetune the instruction I can send you the ".lic" file. Bering Posted June 15, 2016 Posted June 15, 2016 For me the link to the instructions isn't working. Perhaps is dropbox an option? Quote
KissP Posted June 15, 2016 Posted June 15, 2016 (edited) For me the link to the instructions isn't working. Perhaps is dropbox an option? Hello! Probably I messed up something with the linking. The solution that works for me: open a new window/tab in your browser, copy the link (http://www.filedropp...avydutyforklift) there, and hit ENTER. This time you will see a button "Download this file". I successfully downloaded the file from there, before I wrote the original post. I tried dropbox, but I can't access the site from my office computer. EDIT: now if I click on the link in this post, it opens the right website. To everyone: If you find a problem in the instruction feel free to point it out. If I can, I will fix it.One thing I noticed that I don't mention in the instruction (I wanted to, but forgot): there are times when the new pieces aren't connected to the model yet , so you can build it seperatly. These happens in steps 15-21,43-45, 47-48. I wanted to fix it by making these elements a submodel, but I couldn't find to sulotion to that. Edited June 15, 2016 by KissP Quote
