Posted December 4, 201410 yr Im currently building Volkswagen with 4x4 drivertain and I have a problem with steering having too large turning radius for the wheels. The wheels are moving too much and so rubbing against the wheel arches so I was thinking if there's a possibility to create an drive axle which would make the wheels turn on the spot, not moving widely across the wheel arch? Thanks!

I don't see much of a difference in the video, although the bump steer is gone for good.

December 4, 201410 yr You can replace the U joints with CV's and gain 1 more stud this way. Thats about all you can gain with portal axles and kingpin.
