Im currently building Volkswagen with 4x4 drivertain and I have a problem with steering having too large turning radius for the wheels. The wheels are moving too much and so rubbing against the wheel arches so I was thinking if there's a possibility to create an drive axle which would make the wheels turn on the spot, not moving widely across the wheel arch?

Thanks!

Maybe watch LPEpower episode 08 - Lego 8110 unimog steering, for inspiration.

its why lego made 4ws on the crawler 9398

using CV joints with the new hubs inside large wheels will make it turn better but less ability to handle a lot of torque

Hi,

It's better to use a sharing site like Flickr or Bricksafe to store your pictures. Then embed them here, by using the link to the image.
