Posted December 4, 201410 yr Hi everybody! I'm new to this forum and I want to show you my first Lego Idea: the Brandenburg Gate!! It comes with over 9000 pieces and it' really really detailed!! Here's a render of my project I need your support to transform this in a real Lego set!! Support me at https://ideas.lego.com/projects/87619 Thank you!!
December 4, 201410 yr Greetings! I saw the gates in Berlin and you did a very good job. Only thing I'd suggest you is to try to make the upper part less jaggy, with more slopes. Edited December 4, 201410 yr by Zblj
December 4, 201410 yr I'm not sure I see the point - LEGO have already done this in the architecture range (although about 1/4 the scale). I also see a lot of 1x1 sand green tiles on the roof - that looks quite tedious to construct. And the supports are building the same model six times, which again would be rather tedious. It's probably nice as a MOC if it means something to you, but not for LEGO IDEAS.
December 4, 201410 yr Neat idea. Interesting output. I do agree, it seems pointless since LEGO has done it with the architecture line already. And something of this magnitude will require close to $900 to complete and that is being generous. I think before you build something for IDEAS, you need to ask yourself: Is there play value? Will it offer new techniques or ideas to fans? Is it something that LEGO doesn't currently offer? If you can honestly give viable options to any of those three questions, then I'd be surprised. Best of luck.
