N-4K0 Posted December 12, 2014 Posted December 12, 2014 (edited) Those saying "you are too old for Lego" need to grow up. Just a bit ;) I once read a quote saying "you're not grown-up until you dare to be childish". Following that, all of us here are grown-up  As for the topic - I'm looking on getting the loader if I find a good discount sometimes. I do think it's worth it, although I would prefer the set to have less PF components so that the price would be nicer. Edited December 12, 2014 by Error404 Quote
weavil Posted December 13, 2014 Posted December 13, 2014 I'm getting it as a Christmas gift, so go me! But as a collector set, wait for a really good discount. As a parts set, I say yes, but only if you need the PF. Other wise you're paying for Volvo's licensing, the bucket, and the PF you don't need. But for me it's free and I need the PF parts. P.S. The bucket does count as a fair amount of pieces. I got a 2014 police sets with the large raft and felt a little sort changed. Quote

Off the wall Posted December 14, 2014 Posted December 14, 2014 Just some advice to you single folks. This is from an Internet article that discusses the meaning of words that are frequently misused. Disinterested On a blind date, you might be uninterested when he talks about his Lego collection, and you might be disinterested when one of your friends thinks he's cute, especially if he's already gone on a while about the Legos. therealjustin Posted December 15, 2014 Posted December 15, 2014 I was not really planning on getting the set right away and when I did, it would be for parts only. I purchased it in August and four months later I still have it on display It certainly has shelf presence and is easily one of the best Technic sets ever made. If you buy a few extra pieces to add Efferman's steering, put on aftermarket tires and fill in the holes in the bodywork it makes it that much more enjoyable to play with and look at. Quote
Paul B Technic Posted December 16, 2014 Posted December 16, 2014 I purchased and built this yesterday, I simply love it :) Quote
