Ranger_Elegost Posted December 15, 2014 Posted December 15, 2014 That is so cool, loving how you did the round castle walls, that's a great technique. I also like the technique you used for the gate, so much detail :D Brilliant work, keep it up :) Quote
WarSquirrel Posted December 15, 2014 Posted December 15, 2014 Wow! I love how you have included many details and great building techniques. Nice army! Quote
Slegengr Posted December 15, 2014 Posted December 15, 2014 What a nice, large build, Gondorfan! I like the looks of the walls and gate. The buildings inside look nice as well. At such a large scale, there is still a nice level of details included. The only thing I could ask more is if it could be made bigger by 10 times to be truly minifigure scale ! Quote

Captain Braunsfeld Posted December 16, 2014 Posted December 16, 2014 Amazing - huge - I also admire the round wall approach! Quote
Gondorfan Posted December 19, 2014 Author Posted December 19, 2014 (edited) Great build, the scale is huge! The Moc is quite large, including the Pelennor fields the Moc takes up 3mx2m. Amazing - huge - I also admire the round wall approach! The Round wall was very easy to do- I used 1x2's and bended them and it was easy to build the rock face. Balbo Posted December 19, 2014 Posted December 19, 2014 Amazing work I love the round wall, the scale and all the details. Your army is very nice, too . Quote
Gondorfan Posted July 19, 2015 Author Posted July 19, 2015 (edited) I have put this magnificent project on hold for a year as I am doing a SW MOC. However I will shortly show off my expanded armies and show you how it looks now. I plan in the future to keep building this MOC for a long time. check out my youtube and Flickr for the final result Edited July 19, 2015 by Gondorfan Quote

Gondorfan Posted July 19, 2015 Author Posted July 19, 2015 And that's what you name a humble attempt! I really like IT, i've always wanted to see a Minas Tirith MOC Thank-you, I am slowly slowly adding more to this MOC. Quote
Lord_Tyrannus Posted July 20, 2015 Posted July 20, 2015 Fantastic work!!! Did you do all by yourself? How long did it take to finish this project (the part that is finished, considerind it's a WIP)? Quote
Gondorfan Posted July 20, 2015 Author Posted July 20, 2015 Check out my Flickr for more photos and more progress . OOOMMMMGGGG!! It's epic i'm constantly adding minifigs and buildings to this MOC. Glad to see that people like the MOC. Fantastic work!!! Did you do all by yourself? How long did it take to finish this project (the part that is finished, considerind it's a WIP)? Thanks. I 've done about 80% of the work with a few people contributing some minifigs. It's taken me 2 years and I intend to spend years continuing it, the only thing that's stopping me is that LOTR mini-figs are getting really hard to find. Quote
Nagol of Fortfield Posted July 20, 2015 Posted July 20, 2015 Simply stunning! I love those battlements! Also, that's a lot of orcs, Gondorians and Rohirrim! Quote
Gondorfan Posted July 22, 2015 Author Posted July 22, 2015 (edited) Simply stunning! I love those battlements! Also, that's a lot of orcs, Gondorians and Rohirrim! Thank-you, the armies have been slowly built over three years. The only problem is I have no idea how to show off the moc professionally. Edited July 22, 2015 by Gondorfan Quote
Gondorfan Posted January 7, 2016 Author Posted January 7, 2016 O!M!G! This is just incredible... Thankyou I wish I had pictures from a better angle I have begun to add a third wall, I will post updates soon. My armies have grown substantially! Quote
richchie Posted January 7, 2016 Posted January 7, 2016 like the idea to build something so huge as minas tirith. just 2 things : 1)i think that 195 orcs are not enough.. you will need at least 400-500 2) if you are gndor fan... my friend is making gondor soldiers (torso and legs and shield with gondor white tree... ) i will for sure change my gondor army (as you i built it from heroic knights) and spend some Money to have origin gondorians. in the past i was against custom things, but these are like original lego and the same quality. if you are interested, here is his contact: friend.bricks@gmail.com Quote
bricklover Posted February 6, 2016 Posted February 6, 2016 That's crazy huge! The Orc army is awesome! Quote
Bluecoat officer Posted March 26, 2016 Posted March 26, 2016 (edited) Very impressive! I, as well as many, wish that lego made, or will make, some more "Return Of The King" sets that would finally feature soldiers of Gondor. Then I would attempt at making Minis Tirith but it still wouldn't be as amazing as yours (or even close for that matter). Edited March 26, 2016 by Bluecoat officer Quote
