I forgot to say this earlier: I hope that the good wizard will be dressed with blue clothes. It would be a great homage to the awesome Majisto. Of course he's going to have, as Lego puts it, "updated" pieces, such as a cape, a light bley long beard, a printed hat and a new staff.

Basically, what I'm hoping for is a wizard that can act as a counterpart for the Necromancer, while retaining some signature elements from Majisto.

Wizards ON!

Oh yes, definitely. Every good wizard needs a cool pet, like Shakar's personal peregrine falcon. ;-)

Well! So I have to hope that the LEGO corperation will produce new Republic Gunships in 2009 or 2010 or 2011,....... :'-(

Well it still could happen in 2008.... I certainly hope so!

I also hope this. Maybe they could make an EP 3 version with an Commander Cody fig and a small crab droid *wub* ! I like those crab droids!

They now produce Croissants for Market street, why not making a bakery, with a shop, a bakery with oven , a seller and a costumer who buys croissants.

That isn't a new piece.

I saw this one pop up on Brickshelf... Does anyone know about it?

Welcome to Eurobricks sirmia... can that image be real? *wub* One of the reasons why I want the new Bulldozer is to do exactly that...

Thanks for the pic. If real, I guess it could be any one of these:

LEGO Racers 8490 - Desert Hopper EUR 9,99

LEGO Racers 8491 - Ram Rod EUR 9,99

LEGO Racers 8492 - Mud Hopper EUR 9,99

LEGO Racers 8493 - Red Ace EUR 9,99

LEGO Racers 8494 - Ring of Fire EUR 29,99

I was thinking that. But it is an awful lot smaller than the Dino.

Very true. I would say that it would have sub 400 pieces, the question is what does value does Lego place on the new motors and RC components... I really hope this is real as this would be a good way for me to get the RC parts at a cheaper price if the Bulldozer ends up being higher than $250 AUD... Personally I think it is a fake. :'-(

EDIT: Looking at the picture enlarged it looks like there is one of the Technic Guys in there. I really hope this is real.

Legomilk, I know you are always a reliable source, so I am not questioning you, but isn't it odd that they won't have any new LEGO sets yet they are releasing LEGO Batman the video game?

legomilk, are you sure about this? I know you are a reliable informant, but I've heard other claims to the contrary. Here on Eurobricks, in the "Indy Lego!!" thread, member DJSaulTNutz said he knew the set names and numbers for January 2008 LEGO Batman sets (June, 17, 2007). And over at the Legions of Gotham forums, webmaster Matt wrote on July, 2, 2007:

"Legions of Gotham has confirmed with LEGO corporate...

While LEGO will be producing more Batman product next year, there are currently no plans for LEGO toys based on the film, 'The Dark Knight'."

I find it hard to believe, with a new Batman film and the LEGO Batman video game coming out in 2008, that LEGO would not capitalize on this by releasing new Batman sets. Then again, it wouldn't be the first time that LEGO did something that made me shake my head in disbelief. After all, DJSaulTNutz never did release the names of the sets that he claimed to know (perhaps he heard it was cancelled?) and the Legions of Gotham post just said "Batman product" which could just be the video game and more magnets/keychains.

Could you look into this further legomilk? And perhaps DJSaulTNutz could chime in too? I would be sorry to hear that LEGO would abandon such a promising license.

We even have a topic on it here: http://eurobricks.hosting.ipsyn.com/eurofo...showtopic=10228

It said that there would be Batman sets next year, but none based on "the Dark Knight" film.
