I noticed there is no "Show your army" topic here so I made one. :pir-skull:

I have not many pirate sets, but I'm trying to get a bigger ship, I never had one!

And here is my little "army"

Its a Cap. Squidbeard and his crew. They still trying to steal something, and buy a real ship...

My BL order arrived today and I can now proudly present my Swedish Carolean army from the late 17th century/early 18th century:

caroleanarmy005.jpg

I know, it's not very big but it is the first Swedish army in the index :pir-classic:

I also have a small Russian army so my caroleans would have someone to fight :pir-tongue:

russianarmy004.jpg

Not the most accurate uniforms but it's good enough for me :pir-grin:

I like both, very nice! I am also very impressed with the new torso!

I have also in the past used the pirate captain torso as a military uniform.

BIG QUESTION:

Where is everyone getting the ammo pouches from?! I think they look way better than backpacks!

Let me know!!!

BrickLink I believe, it's a minifig utensil part.

BrickLink name: Reddish Brown Minifig, Utensil Bag Messenger Pouch

In the mean time I took a break from being retarded and figured it out on my own. They are from the Indiana Jones sets, right?

I already have ten on the way for the victorious forces of the blue nation!!!

Etzel: Is there a specific name for the lego minifigures you used as Carolean soldiers?

BTW: Great job! Nice army, yours and mine need to me at the battlefield some day ;)

My British Army:

Troop Count:

17 Imperial Gaurds (armed with basic Musket) (2 are armed with pistols)

1 Lookout (With telescope)

2 Artillary Gunners (armed with torch and etc.)

1 Flag Holder (with Flag)

2 Captains (armed with cutlass)

In Total: 23 minifigures

--------------------------------------------------------------------

Is that a decent army?

The uniforms look allright I think. The Swedish army does it! They look awesome with the new torso's. Are you going to expand it?

Thank you! :pir-sweet: It's not likely that I will expand the army, I'm not really a big army builder. I just want a decent number of soldiers to make some good battlefield MOCs (I've got some ideas). Besides that there is the financial issue, the figure with the blue torso is really expensive - cheapest price on BrickLink is $4! But maybe if prices goes down...

Thank you, Sir Wellington! I don't know if there a special name, The torso is from this minifig that's called Pirate Blue Jacket on BrickLink. Comes from this set.

I like your army too, it has much variation despite it's numbers  Great job!

Those are really good! Nice variation and great detail!

But unfortunately I can't print decals and I actually prefers the purist way :pir-classic: But I sure would like to see those decals on some minifigs :pir-sweet:
