I'm so glad the Nether set does include a Ghast after all (would've preferred two though), and it even comes with exchangeable facial expressions  And it appears that set includes both Steve and Alex, so it's the first set to depict multiplayer action

Edit: Upon closer inspection, I noticed that Alex is included in the Desert set as well

Hopefully there will be a wave 3...I want a village so bad :cry_sad:

I agree, we definitely need one of those  The villager is now the only mob to get a representation in the Microworld sets and not the minifig-scaled ones. And thanks to the second wave, there's not that much left in terms of mobs that still need to be LEGO-fied (basically just chickens, horses, squids, fish, rabbids, guardians, slimes, golems, cats/ocelots, bats, witches, wither skeletons and the wither).

I'm quite optimistic about a third wave, given that the first wave was a major success  This facebook post where they're currently looking for suggestions for how to build a TNT catapult is also a good indication for a further wave, since none of the upcoming sets include one of those (and it'd be too late anyway): https://www.facebook.com/LEGOMinecraft

Wait I thought the set was called the Village? But I guess not since there are no villagers and it would make more sense to have zombies than skeletons...

I love the Ghast and the Blaze they looks amazing!!! I'm not really a fan of the snow fortress though because its not really something from the game...

Nether Fortress is gonna be the first and maybe only Minecraft set I get (beyond the initial microworld). If they do a swamp I'll get that too.

I dunno. I may reevaluate the others. Nether Fortress is one of my favorite parts of the game when you can actually find one.

Nope, it's called "Desert Outpost" When I hear the words "Minecraft Desert", I'm also inclined to think of naturally-spawning villages rather than self-constructed strongholds, (even though it makes sense to build the latter while staying in the desert, which tends to be a dangerous place at night, hence the skeletons ). I guess we might see one in a future wave, hopefully complete with villagers and a golem

Indeed, those do not exist in the game... unless you build them yourself of course  I usually build one of these when camping in snowy areas, they have way more style than your regular ol' run-of-the-mill cobblestone or wood shelters :sweet:

I have played Minecraft a little and I really like these sets, so far I own all the first wave and I am planning on buying the second wave. Does anyone know when the second wave is suppost to come out ?

Some time in June or earlier.

Thanks for the links! I'm especially fond of all the little details we haven't seen before, like the cookie, the extra golden sword in the chest and the micro-Zombie inside the spawner  The play features are very nicely done as well :sweet:
