Hopefully, with Bionicle's popularity (assuming the rumours are true, of course), we'll get leaked images at the same time as the other themes. HF always seems to get shortchanged every year in terms of leaked images.

Anyone wanna try their hand at some MOC-ups? WE have some decent silhouettes, and even some speculated parts. It's more than enough, I think, for some good old fashioned inspired building.

Or maybe some artist renditions? We have plenty of material to keep this topic alive with some fun speculation.

I dunno. I guess if there's enough hype and you have actual BIONICLE fans out looking for them we might see pictures sooner, but the constraction category as a whole has always been the red-headed stepchild of the LEGO brand as far as most AFOLs are concerned. I guess we have to wait and see.

I wasn't active on forums during Bionicle's time - how were the leaks then? HF usually gets them weeks, if not months, after popular themes like Star Wars or Superhereoes. I assume Bionicle was well known and popular enough at the time (and hopefully still is, amongst fans of other themes, at least) for the leakers to take note of it.

It's funny that you say that, because earlier today, I've built a "2014 Tahu", based on the picture we have, and on how I think Tahu could look like if he were released nowadays :

The flame sword is more of a wish, I'd say he's more likely to have a 2013 HF sword. At least that's what I see when I look at the picture.

No, that's completely bogus. BZPower doesn't get ANY funding from LEGO whatsoever. The site owners pay for it either using funds generated through the sale of premier memberships or out-of-pocket. How in the world did you come up with that completely ridiculous assumption?

Even though they're not receiving funding, they're supported by LEGO, so they may want to keep a good relationship with LEGO so that they don't lose support. There's no money involved, but it's kind of common sense that BZP wouldn't want to sever its ties with LEGO. In any case, it's obvious they're proactively silencing this news.

Hear me out- Randomized "accessory packs" that contain weapons, masks, ammunition, armor, and/or other specialized parts. Not only would moc makers use this for getting certain pieces, fans would want them to give their sets exclusive armor and tools.

So when Greg's account was hacked on BZP a while back, was his signature changed to read "BIONICLE Returns 2015", and was the account ever reinstated after being banned? Because as it stands, both of those things are true about the account now.

Kinda why I left BZP. Still have my account there, but I've never used it for... Couple years now I think.

Things are more fun here anyway :P

As for Cryoshell, I don't care one way or the other. They had some nice tunes, but if they don't show, I won't be broken up about it.

Would be a nice icing on the cake, though; if they can't get gears, collectibles or old story, we at least have that back!

None that I'm aware of. I see no reason Greg would actually put that in his signature, though, unless it's a brilliant strategy by LEGO to create more confusion. :P

Nice artwork, but why are people assuming the character on the stand is Tahu? The resolution (of the stand art) is so poor, the only thing I can see is that he's got an arm and a face :P

As far as I've heard, the leaker says that he was red. I think that's a pretty good indication that it's Tahu! :D

About a sixth of released Bionicle sets are red; only 4 of them were incarnations of Tahu :/
