I kinda saw it in the top part of the display, but I couldn't make out anything on the bottom. It kinda looks tribal in aesthetic, though.

Also, seeing as how Bionicle 2015 is basically confirmed, does anyone think that Bionicle will have a presence in The Lego Movie sequel?

Well, Hero Factory didn't, but Bionicle did get a mention in TLM 1, so it could happen. I personally doubt it though, Bionicle, with its rich storyline might not lend itself as readily to the themes of creativity in the film. Although, the plot could be that to be creative you have to think outside the story and not let it limit you...

Dunno how that would work out, but it would be really cool. It had a cameo in the first one.

I just thought, do you reckon Lego will put "from the makers of hero factory characters" on the boxes like they did with Bionicle in HF's first year? I kinda want them to, just so I can see Bionicle purists' heads explode XD.

This July leak is pretty unusual. September is generally about the time we start to hear things, and there are often pictures by October.

All of this Bionicle 2015 confirmation makes me want to jump up and down... Childhood: Estimated time for complete reboot--5 months and 3 days

"Official name" leaks begin showing up mid-August at the earliest.

Expect preliminary images sometime between mid-September and late October (who knows? We may even get official images early!!).

We won't get any images for "hard-to find" sets until closer to their release (only certain themes get the pleasure, though...)

I think it's unlikely. The main reason why the LEGO Group had to do that in the first place is probably that BIONICLE was never branded as "LEGO BIONICLE" before (unlike most themes, which are called "LEGO {theme name}". BIONICLE, according to official style guides, was just identified as "BIONICLE".

Even though BIONICLE packages always had the LEGO logo towards the bottom of the packages and the BIONICLE movies always had the LEGO logo in the opening and closing credits, it would be easy for people to make the mistake of thinking that the LEGO Group didn't create the BIONICLE brand and characters, and instead just produced the sets under license, or sponsored the movies. So the disclaimer on Hero Factory packages could tell people something they might not realize on their own: that "LEGO Hero Factory" sets and story by the same creators as "BIONICLE".

I don't think there will be nearly as much confusion over whether the new "LEGO BIONICLE" is by the same creators as "LEGO Hero Factory", especially since not only do the two theme names disclose the parent company, but also as far as we can tell the two themes will share the vast majority of their parts.

I imagine that each Toa will have printing on their chest armour. It certainly looks like Tahu has it in the CGI image on the display stand and I think I can make it out on his set picture, too. The printing appears to look rather tribal, which is good...much better than the sort of printing that Furno in his Breakout form has (not that I think that it's a bad print, just that it wouldn't go with the Bionicle aesthetic)

One thing that worries me, though, is that IF each toa gets printing, then Onua may end up with a sticker (that's if he uses the very large chest piece from The Hulk and Stormer XL, etc) since as far as Im aware that piece has always used stickers for decorative elements rather than print.

More this (maybe with a preliminary stamp plastered across the front) than this.

Something like the former is somewhat common, depending on the popularity of the theme and the one who's leaking the information. Sometimes something like this ends up being all we get. I must admit that the actual display case is a treat for this early in the year!

Of course, if there is an official announcement between now and October, than how lucky will we be?

So, have any of the artists here tried to draw any of the new Kanohi from the display?

I would post my own, but my freaking printer/scanner is screwed up at the moment.
