Nope, for the forseeable future it is NYCC exclusive and that is not likely to change.

Anyway, my opinion on these haven't really changed. Basher is still my favorite, followed by grinder, then warrior, scorpio, and lastly slicer.

On an unrelated note, I got LoSS today. Really liking it. I know a lot dislike it, but I think the function works well (he can grab my onua if done right) and the set looks pretty nice imo. LoSS is boss.

If I really wanted to be a fool and try to rip people off for a polybag that they can get for free in a month, I'd keep it to eBay or wherever and not tell everyone on Eurobricks about it. But that's just me.

If 2 people cannot manage to wait 2 months for a free polybag, then they deserve to be ripped off. Doesn't make you any less unlikeable for pulling this off (and being smug about it as well), but w/e.

As for the polybag itself, I'm definitely getting one. Not sure if I should get a second though...

So...bit off topic, but does anyone know when Australia is getting the Winter wave? I have heard 'February' rumoured around but nothing specific. I had half a mind a few weeks ago to ask my local comic book guy (we're tight) to order all 13 sets into his shop especially for me...except you know, I would probably have to pay exorbitant costs.

I've been trying to find updates too, but nothing specific has popped up. However, of note is that the Myer website now has Bionicle in the search "Suggested Keywords" even if there are no results. For example if you type "Bionicle" you'll get suggestions like "Bionicle protector of" or "Bionicle Gali". The Toa names appear too, for example typing "Onua" gets you "Onua master of".

It could mean anything but it just makes me confident that at least Myer will bring it in, and hopefully this means it's soon.

I'd say Fire, Ice, Jungle or Earth, but I don't have the sets in-hand so I can't tell you which of the four is the best.

I've been thinking that myself. Either the PoJ for the keetorange, the PoS for the burnt orange and trans neon green or the PoE for the trans purple. The PoS and PoJ have the bonus recoloured silver feet, and also the PoJ comes with two of the silver piston add on. Additionally though the PoE has those recoloured rock lumps in silver.

I s'pose it depends really what your intentions are. I'll probably buy at least one more protector as a double, but my decision will probably be swayed by whats on discount later or not.

You mean dark bley 3M bones, right? Anyway, I'd recommend either PoJ or PoS.

He means 4M. 3M bones are the ones with no "axle". Remember: In Lego terminology, an "M" is equivalent to one stud on a System brick, or one hole on a Technic beam.

Also BrickBuilder, I'd recommend PoS. Dark Orange, Neon trans-green, Silver feet and two Silver addons, is hard to say no to.

Oh, I've always thought M stands for module which is the size of a ballcup in CCBS (so the piece in question consists of a ball joint, an axle and a socket part). Now that I compared it to a Technic piece, it's certainly true. My bad and thanks for the info.

Like others, I'd probably recommend the Protector of Stone. I'm getting an extra one myself for the trans-neon green bones, the recoloured flame bolts and the dark orange shells (all those will inevitably be useful to me) as well as more silver piston add-ons (also very useful especially if you plan to swap out the gold for silver on Onua, like I have).

Reminds me, now that I have a computer that works with my SD card again, I must photograph my modified Protectors and upload them at some point

Luckily, I'm getting my first Stone Protector on Friday, along with the Fire Protector and a Hero Pack. I'll be able to look at all the parts in the Stone Protector set, so that I know what I'm getting when the time comes to buy a spare.

Or Basher :

-Trans-purple bones and armor

-Four new add-ons

If you want lots of new bones, choose Slicer. If you prefer armor, choose Basher. :)
