(and this time I'm not a month late  ). It's very cool to see more Mask of Water concepts arts, and to get some information about the design process.

Drat, I was just about to post this.

Makes me feel bad on how much I want to redesign it

Neat to see the origins of the mask. But I wish the video covered the design process for the entire figure.

There's a cool new picture on the facebook page.

Heh. Pretty cute. Everyone hanging out on the beach. Also love the inclusion of Lewa's Nuva symbol.

Hah, the heads are shaped like "Easter" island, get it?

Can someone post it here?

Notice the Lewa Nuva symbol?Just an easteregg?

Also birds. and that white... stuff they leave behind.

The Moai-like Toa head are impressive ! I hope we'll get more of these artworks in the future, I love Matt Betteker's style (he drew the packages' artwork and the comics for HF IFB (see here)).

I doubt the picture is canon, but if it is, then the island in the background is interesting, it would mean that there are other islands than Okoto. Oh, also, bigger size of the pic here.

His art is the only good thing with IfB to be honest.

We have seen that Okoto is a huge place so my guess is that the "island" is just another part of water region.

Love it! Kinda reminds of the piraka playground from bionicle heroes, where they just act goofy. Kinda nice to see once in a while like this.

I love his artwork and that picture is so awesome for so many reasons! They should really sell an art book full of gen2 concept artwork, I would buy it in a heart-light beat.

There are other smaller islands in the Water region.

But yeah. Doubting this is canon. But seems like it'd be a nice post-final battle scene/party. Everyone relaxing and chillin' on the beach.

Did I just spot Pohatu recreating "The Anvil" as a sandcastle?

This photo is all kinds of awesome: Tahu is walking around like a surfer, Gali is fishing, Pohatu is building a sand castle.....and Kopaka is in the shade.....just chillin'!!!!

Really, I want this to be a canon scene.

Maybe it is... o_o

Think its a mix between an easter egg and a way to let fans know that Lewa's head is the one you cant see

Pretty sure the Nuva symbol is just an easter egg at this point. The guys running the FB page certainly like to pander to the older fans!

Also, new version without the greeting.

Heh, that's a really nice picture. I still can't decide which one of these is my favourite here, though I guess it's Tahu, because until now it never occured to me that he could also use his surfboard sword like an actual surfboard on water instead of lava.

I love these scenery shots, but to me it really is a shame that the webisodes don't really cover all that much scenery sans golden mask shrines and the lost city. Sure, we get some snapshots, but there isn't that open exploration of Gen1 feel to me as before...

(Yay, apparently I'm a count now!)

Would'nt be suprised if the lack of explanation is for a story reason also, if we are going to spend 3 years on Okoto as some have predicted do we really want to know every detail now? Also, if we are spending three years on the island it gives opportunity for a Bionicle game to come out at the end of these three years if the series is popular enough to re-tell the story on the island and allow for more exploration.

I really hope so, I would love to have more Bionicle games. The Mask of Creation game just isn't doing it for me, I'd rather go back and play the old console games. Btw, for those who don't know, you can play every Bionicle web game on biomediaproject.com and if you log in you can save your progress. I've been on there a lot in anticipation for gen2 stuff.

I also think a new console game would be nice. The old web games are fun and all, but a new, large-scale game has so much potential that it would be a shame if we never get one in Gen 2. It could also serve to showcase the unexplored parts and wildlife of Okoto, as well as give some insights as to the villagers' lives.

LEGO doesn't make console games for non-media based lines (LEGO Movie, Jurassic Park, Indiana Jones, etc), only handheld games. And I can guarantee you this, if Gen 2 gets one of them it won't be the game you're hoping for.
