I also wouldn't be entirely surprised if it turned out to be Spring Yellowish Green. If it's supposed to glow, the LEGO Group doesn't seem to be advertising it as heavily on the packaging we've seen as they ordinarily do.

Well, we already see Tahu lavasurfing in his new picture, so that's likely what the background is referring to. But yeah, I hope we get some kind of volcano fight. That's be pretty cool.

So......To recap the last hour: Lewa has dreadlocks, Pohatu has a hover-boomerang, Onua spent too much time at the gym, the Protectors are either robots, or really obsessed with becoming robots, and *spoiler* the MoCr, the only thing Lego has advertised for the past few weeks, will be at NYCC.

Productive day for leaks.

Strange; the Earth Protector clearly uses the head in its normal orientation, yet unlike the Fire Protector we can't see any cheeks or anything. That's really weird.

I really dont see that at all. I see the gray shoulder armor which looks bizarrely like his jetpack's blades from Phantoka.

As great as earth protector looks, this now means we STILL don't have a proper purple mask. WHY?! I am also warming to the new pakari, but really lego? sticker or printing on the chest again? why not just make a detailed piece rather than essentially drawing detail on a plain one. it just looks cheap and nasty, always has. At least Onua seems to have a lot going on in his torso. Loving the cave village as well.

looking at that, it seems quite clear the teaser video was just closeups on parts of this stand. You can see the cracks, the tube/pillar, and of course the stand itself, which will all likely be glowing purple tomorrow.

I notice that in the bottom corner of PoE's head you can see part of the skull. It sort of looks like the corner of a McToran's skull.

Actually that was some armor. But I now know, that the head fits into similar dimensions of the Hero Factory/Glatorian head. You *can* see where it connects to the skeleton. The eyes look very low on the head though...

Holy crap, the Earth sets are stealing the show for me this year it seems. I'm loving the trans purple bones (although a lack of lower bone pieces is extremely annoying), and that Defender mask in black & purple is amazing.

Also the giant MoCr is fantastic.

I just noticed the eyestalk peeking out of Onua's head like the Metru/Phantoka Makuta. Also the way the eyestalk goes in looks really similar to the Metru head (open top for the head).

Onua and the Earth Protector look absolutely FANTASTIC. I'm loving the two-toned mask on the Protector, and Onua's shoulder pads/claws/hammer piece. It's got a very Bionicle aesthetic.

Im really starting to think the new heads are modeled after metru heads, just look at how squat earth protector's head is! The distance between his eyes and the connector socket at the neck.

They might be similar, with an eyestalk, but I very much doubt they were "modeled after". They'll contain similarities, but only as much as any other head. Besides, assuming the clip-on method, they wouldn't even use an axle opening (although it'd be nice if they included one!).
