Mask_of_Death Posted December 28, 2014 Posted December 28, 2014 (edited) Btw, CrunchbiteNuva scanned the Bio-2015 pamphlet & uploaded it to Tumblr. If y'all wanna see it, here it is: http://crunchbitenuv...ns-of-the-pages Lots of good lore additions, such as the details of each particular region, the time gap between the Legend and the Arrival ("thousands of years") along with the confirmation of the Mask of Time. It definitely seems to me that that mask is the MOUP, considering its on a pedestal of energy, six cracks of elemental energy pouring into it, surrounded by broken chains, (not to mention you can clearly see this mask's nostril on the other poster as well.) Kamen Rider Kiva Posted December 28, 2014 Posted December 28, 2014 (edited) I like how Gali had hair at one point. Ikr, it looks really good (Though the head is a bit too long). ^-^ Edited December 28, 2014 by Kamen Rider Kiva Quote

TheDesuComplex Posted December 28, 2014 Posted December 28, 2014 This pamplet does confirm that the purple mineral seen all over the Earth Region is obsidian. Here's to hoping that Onua doesn't get lit on fire... I also believe that the Skull Spiders hail from the 'unexplored swamps' of the Water Region. (I am also thinking of the amphibious spiders seen in Gali's animation.) Quote
dviddy Posted December 28, 2014 Posted December 28, 2014 Hooray, Mask of Time's existence is finally confirmed. We can finally put THAT particular piece of debate to rest. I don't think there was any doubt or debate about the mask if time being in the reboot. That was the only concrete part of the NYCC information Jordan Paxton gave out that everyone can agree on. That and the two team members at the NYCC panel leaned over to each other and said "should we tell them about the mask of time?" And the other said "they'll figure it out." Can be seen in the BZP video where they whisper to each other during the Temple of Time slide. Quote
Mandate Posted December 28, 2014 Posted December 28, 2014 Anybody can use the LEGO Club site, even if you're not eligible for the magazine. Even if you don't have an account, you can access the webpage. Try changing your region if you're still having issues. Yeah, no. Whenever I click the "enter website lolz111!11! lego$ r kool" thing it just refreshes the page. Forever (I'm not kidding). By that point I just gave up on it and started playing Deus Ex. That combiner looks kind of meh anyway. Quote
Kamen Rider Kiva Posted December 28, 2014 Posted December 28, 2014 Found Georgia Toysrus, bought 3 protectors and one Toa Which county was it in? Anywhere near Canton or Ballground? Quote
Creature Posted December 28, 2014 Posted December 28, 2014 While the magazine scans were interesting for their story information and flavor text concerning the different regions of the island, I can't get over how horribly posed all of the sets were. I don't get why they didn't use the art from the fronts or backs of the boxes. Its like they decided to hastily slap some new poses together ten minutes before the page layout had to be finalized. On the store front, my local Target in northern California is starting to role out the sets. Unfortunately when I went today they only had a few LOSS mistakenly placed where Chima products were supposed to go. I was dead set on getting a bunch of sets today, but considering that LOSS is the one set I know I'm not getting this wave, I had to take a pass. Quote
Vinyl Scratch Posted December 28, 2014 Posted December 28, 2014 Whoa hold on, what's this about Skull Grinder? Did Summer sets get leaked? Quote

I think people more meant just figuring out in what capacity it will appear, and how the Gen1 Vahi connects if at all (beyond just being an easter egg). It's an exciting prospect regardless! Yeah, no. Whenever I click the "enter website lolz111!11! lego$ r kool" thing it just refreshes the page. Forever (I'm not kidding). By that point I just gave up on it and started playing Deus Ex. But yeah, it's not a particularly exciting combiner, just novel in that it's different from the "power up" mode. Quote

wghost Posted December 28, 2014 Posted December 28, 2014 (edited) Hey guys, have you seen the Tahu/PoF combiner on LEGO Club's Build section. This is different from the power up modes. Here's a link: http://www.lego.com/...c287a9c8a05bd1a Actually, it's a really nice combiner and feels much more like one than the power-up mode - admittedly, it uses more parts from the (this time disassembled) protector. And the use of the protector's feet is excellent. Edited December 28, 2014 by wghost Quote
Voxovan Posted December 28, 2014 Posted December 28, 2014 I highly doubt that this black mask is the Mask of OP, it looks more like something from the 2nd wave... And it also confirms... red eyestalks! Quote

DraikNova Posted December 28, 2014 Posted December 28, 2014 (edited) I've got to agree with the guys that it's probably the Skull Grinder's mask. On the other hand, considering the fact that it appeared on the original poster, unless the Skull Grinder is actually the big bad, I suspect it could be Makuta's replacement mask. Also, considering that robotic noses actually exist, it's not that strange that it has nostrils. Unrelated: does the new piston armor add-on fit on Onua's shoulder armor piece? I know you have to add pins to allow add-ons to connect to it, but does it fit? Edited December 28, 2014 by DraikNova Quote
Mandate Posted December 28, 2014 Posted December 28, 2014 (edited) What is the name of the Mask of OP? I don't know about OP.... Overall Power? Open Party? Ostrich Poop? Ordering Pizza? Omen Pies? Hopefully it's the fourth one. Edited December 28, 2014 by JayWalker Quote
toatali Posted December 28, 2014 Posted December 28, 2014 It could be that the MoUP appears in the Skull Grinder set as the mask the two are fighting for possession of? Either way it looks cool, and I think it's probably just Skull Grinder's mask, as the animation version of the MoUP looks v. different. Quote
Voxovan Posted December 28, 2014 Posted December 28, 2014 Overall Power? Open Party? Ostrich Poop? Ordering Pizza? Omen Pies? Hopefully it's the fourth one. It's actually "Overpowered" :P Quote
Cagast Posted December 28, 2014 Posted December 28, 2014 (edited) Overpowered is one word. It should be UP (Ultimate Power). Edited December 28, 2014 by Cagast Quote
Scarilian Posted December 28, 2014 Posted December 28, 2014 (edited) Its not going to be the Mask Of Ultimate Power, the mask here is literally a Skull... i dont see how its being confused with the Mask Of Ultimate Power. Their is no reason that we'd have seen the Mask Of Ultimate Power with it six pronged design being shown in the animations if we dont get it as that shape in the Summer. It'll be with Skull Grinder... as it makes sense to advertise the Mask from the most expensive villain set (Mask Maker Vs Skull Grinder) The line is confirmed for three years... three years, three main masks... We'll get Creation this year with the Mask Maker (Ekimu), Control next year probably with Makuta and the Mask Of Ultimate Power will be saved for 2017 probably with Takanuva. I say Takanuva because the mask has the same six pronged style to the Avohkii, plus Takanuva being the second most popular figure of Bionicle, added to the idea of the Mask Of Time and Time Travel theories i have.
