TheDesuComplex Posted February 2, 2015 Posted February 2, 2015 Like others, I'd probably recommend the Protector of Stone. I'm getting an extra one myself for the trans-neon green bones, the recoloured flame bolts and the dark orange shells (all those will inevitably be useful to me) as well as more silver piston add-ons (also very useful especially if you plan to swap out the gold for silver on Onua, like I have). Reminds me, now that I have a computer that works with my SD card again, I must photograph my modified Protectors and upload them at some point Yup, I did the same thing to my Onua. Despite all the people saying that it works well, it just didn't look good to me in person. He looks far more unified with silver BIONICLE shells. Quote

Yeah i received the email but i have a rechargeable Credit Card and they blocked 15€ for the actual order +15€ for idontknowwhy,thank god i had more money than the order's price in the card... I had the same issue and spent a long phone call discussing that along with other things, apparently its an error, though i think its intentional that the shop is down so they can fix the issue with the Hero Pack situation. And the Hero Pack can't be bought anymore. My order is still "In Warehouse", I hope they will send it to me. To be honest i'm intrigued to see how Lego will handle this... keep us informed? Quote

For what it's worth, I'm also unable to access orders placed. But honestly, this isn't caused by them attempting to fix the Hero Pack issue (where you could order more than one), is it? What I find ridiculous though is that they can't even be bothered to put up a notice on their Customer Service site stating that S@H has some technical difficulties, because it's clearly affecting all accounts and not just mine and they know about it I know it's slightly off topic, but if I ordered now while I'm unable to access my VIP account, would I still get VIP points on my purchase or not? And to anybody who contacted LEGO about this issue (it's too late to contact them today myself now), did they say anything about how long it would take them to fix the apparent "error"? I want to get my order in sooner rather than later so I can secure myself a Hero Pack without having to resort to the aftermarket. Quote

They have 'Power Up Packs' where you order the Toa and corresponding Protector in one item on USA S@H at least, but they are at the exact same price as to get them individually. They might see a sale at some point, but I doubt it. Quote

I don't know about cheaper, but they did release combo packs with the Toa/Protector duos. It's on the shop page. Putting up a site notice probably costs them more business than the occasional refund. At least for the US, if you show proof of purchase within a reasonable timeframe, they'll retroactively add the points to your account if it doesn't stick for the order. Quote

It's the problem on Lego's end but I didn't like the idea of possible need to discuss with them how I exploited their system and in the process making it longer to arrive. I contacted them earlier today (About 4-5 hours ago) and spent about 10 minutes with the customer service trying to explain the issues as they were not aware of the issue at the time. Eventually i convinced them to test it, and they did and had the same issue. They let me know they were going to report it to their boss. As such i guess its affecting everyone. Chances are this error will be fixed by tommorow evening or something like that, i dont expect it will last too long, though i am suprised the issue is still their at the moment. Though it may be fixed sooner, as currently the issue prevents people from buying which is losing Lego sales. Looks like I'm gonna get two packs. Would'nt celebrate until they arrive, but thanks for the update Quote

In Germany, the big Toa cost 19,99 €, while the smaller ones cost 14,99€ (and the Protectors go for 9,99€). Granted, I don't know how about the wealth of the two currencies here, but still... Quote
