Really hoping these'll be available in America... I mean, I don't really NEED one, but I'd kick myself for missing an easy exclusive.

They'll be available in America next month. It's on the March LEGO Store calendar!

I guess I'm too late for the spiritual discussion(Of which I would rather keep my opinions on silent anyways), but is there still time to talk about Biomechanical reproduction? :smug:

Anyways, I assume the special Valentine's Day/Random U.S. promotional Hau is meant to be a reference to the Translucent Green Kanohi Miru back in 2001? I wonder when they will hand out the equivalent of the Orange Vahi-will we get a cancelled game with it?

I'm not sure if this is a good idea or not, but... how about we split the Main Bionicle 2015 Discussion up into different topics so it's easier to follow certain discussions? For example, how about one topic for the story, one for the sets, and one for theorizing stuff like reproduction?

Granted, I'm mostly suggesting this because I never cared all that much about the huge load of lore that comes with Bionicle (which makes following this topic kinda tiresome to me), but maybe it's not such a bad idea after all?

I know that feel... I know that feel very much...

Not trying to boast, hence the spoiler tags, but yeah... order glitches are cool. Expensive to order, but cool.

Jinkies! You have enough posters and stickers there to plaster an entire room!:laugh:

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the trans Hau promotion "while supplies last"? So people who are exploiting the glitch, like the individual above with 30 OF THEM are potentially screwing over other potential receivers of said promotion, yes? I'm sure LEGO has oodles to spare and are separated by region so that shouldn't be a big issue. Money is really tight for me right now but I plan to get that polybag once it's available in March. I would like a trans Hau but not nearly as badly as others do, nor will I EVER consider buying one from a scalper but unfortunately others have and will be exploited.

Like I said, not a huge deal for me, besides Onua has always been my favorite from day one in 2001  This could be a big issue though for the Tahu lovers out there.

No, the glitch was almost immediately fixed, so there aren't many people who were able to exploit it. And hundreds, maybe thousands (that wouldn't surprise me) of orders are made every day on the s@h, which means hundreds / thousands of Hero Packs are distributed every day. Compared to this, the 30, or 50, or even 100 packs that were bought via the glitch represent nothing.

Yes and no. Since you live in the US, you really don't have to worry. It's not like LEGO just gathers up the leftover stock from their EU and UK stores and then ships it out to the states. They'll have their own allotment and production. However, since this represented an online order, then it depends on what warehouses they come from (I'm not particularly familiar with LEGO's facility layout), but it still shouldn't be a problem.

Point being don't worry; they'll have enough and then some. Just make an order (or go to your local store) in early March, and everything will be cool.

LEGO has a very complicated shipping and handling system, designed for very small response times. If there's a lot of demand, they can put out more of it and bring it to the right spot very quickly.

To be correct it was actually 40 total polybags, but the other few i had opened or not arrived at the time, just to clarify...

Anyway... My location, plus the addition that i recieved it directly from a factory, makes it more likely that my order wont affect anyone else. In addition if Lego themselves had any issue with my orders they had the opportunity to cancel the orders many times, i even called to be sure they knew about the situation and the glitch. If they didnt want to deliver because it was ordered during the glitch, i dont believe they had any legal obligation to supply it, especially considering they could have cancelled it at anytime. I'm greatful for what i paid for and that they delivered.

In the long-run i doubt the orders i made will have any impact on either the chances of you or someone else getting a polybag directly from Lego. Normally polybag promotions such as this are made in excess so that they dont run-out, the spares normally being scrapped if not sold. The addition that i paid directly for the polybags themselves which are normally issued as a freeby likely means they earnt more money from my orders than they would if given out as intended, for free... it was a one-time situation that will likely not be repeated in future.

Unrelated to the current discussion but LEGO finally updated the BIONICLE Magazine Insert to be the right file. And it's pretty cool.

Also gives a good look of the summer teaser, which makes it incredibly apparent that it's Skull Grinder's mask.

Still really bummed out we didn't get that squid girl Gali from the first page.

On page 6 with onua, look at his hammer. What's going on there? Talk about illegal connection. (Also, mask of eartvh.)

Anyway, more concept art is nice to see. Although I'm not a fan of "squid gali"

Man, if only Pohatu and POS came with that shade of brown. And also, I'm pretty sure LOSS isn't as powerful as they made him out to be...."[He] will stop at nothing to protect the city..."? All he did was yell at the Toa to get off his lawn, and then he spit in their faces. He's terrible at his job...

Ah, that's a relief.

In regards to that concept art... I'm a little sad that the designs ended up as they are, rather than the stricter redesign of the old masks. And squid Gali is weird.

I really like the elemental spikes(hair?) on concept Tahu. Would've been cool to have connection points on the back of the masks for flourishes like that.

The 'epic battle' on 8-9 looks nice, but Onua's neck is so weird. The gold is also much brighter and more shiny looking than what we got in sets, which was unfortunate.

Now that someone out there has as many as I do, maybe people will stop bugging me about them. :P

This, i believe we covered about three vastly seperate topics ranging from reproduction and the reason for transparent pieces to the canonisity of the Golden Skull Spider mask...

I know that feel... I know that feel very much...

That should stop people saying "ERMAGERD MESK OF URLTEMATE PEWUR!!".

At least, I hope so.

Er? Yes we have? It's on the website, where most information about G2 is? It isn't any different to G1 where we also had information on the website. That said, I do think the G1 web design was vastly superior to the G2 web design - everything on the G2 site is unnecessarily big.

Right here, in fact. Click on the thing that says 'Golden Mask of the Skull Spiders'.

Through a telepathic link, the golden mask allows the Lord to control the advancing army of skull spiders.

That is what it does.
